Lie To Me 2
Premiere date: Friday, 8 January 2010 at 20h00

Dr Cal Lightman and his truth-seeking team return for more cases. In the first episode of the season: a young woman approaches Lightman, believing she has seen a murder. Lightman finds that she has multiple personalities, and believes one of them witnessed the murder.

American Idol 9

Carte Blanche Medical
Premiere date: Monday, 18 January 2010 at 19h00

A new spin-off series to Carte Blanche that aims to enlighten and empower viewers about medical and health-related issues.

The series will put the spotlight on trailblazing medical breakthroughs, both from South Africa and abroad, and will also delve deeper into the viewpoints of experts regarding new ways of treating medical and related conditions.

Bongani Bingwa anchors the show, with Derek Watts, Devi Sankaree Govender and Annika Larsen reporting from the field.

Grey's Anatomy 6

Carte Blanche Consumer

The second of the two new Carte Blanche spin-offs premiering this month. As the name suggests, this series focuses on consumer concerns and aims to assume the role of a consumer rights watchdog that demands accountability and exposes hidden agendas.

Devi Sankaree Govender anchors, joined by her co-presenters Derek Watts, Bongani Bingwa and Annika Larsen.

The Good Wife

A legal drama that centres round Alicia Florrick: a wife and mother who assumes full responsibility for her family and re-enters the workforce after her husband's very public sex and political corruption scandal lands him in jail.

Pushing aside the betrayal and public humiliation caused by her husband, Peter, Alicia starts over by pursuing her original career as a defense attorney.

As a junior associate at a prestigious Chicago law firm, she joins her longtime friend, former law school classmate and firm partner Will Gardner, who is interested to see how Alicia will perform after 13 years out of the courtroom.

Alicia is grateful the firm's top litigator, Diane Lockhart, offers to mentor her but discovers the offer has conditions and realizes that she's going to need to succeed on her own merit. Alicia's main competition among the firm's 20-something new recruits is Cary, a recent Harvard grad who is affable on the surface, but is competitive to the core.

Alicia finds an ally in Kalinda, the firm's tough in-house investigator and as she immerses herself into her new world she begins to gain confidence and a renewed sense of the self-identity.
