Curse of the Begrudged Diva

Just come back from Macufe madness and I must admit to having the time of my life. I have never seen Bloemfontein so alive and full of energy. There was no time to spare, pre-party's, after party's, 'beach-party's' , the town was reeking havoc. I presume you get the picture, because that's not the subject of my article!

As the timid observer that I am, between Moet and Verve, I noticed a  brooding select society that has suddenly spung-up in Bloemfontein. It was not by chance that I happened to be in the merge of things but my character, and most unforgivingly my morals were misjudged.

Trixy hasn't changed much over the years, I was young and reckless now mature and flirty. Very thin lines, easy to blur, but how far back can I reach into my youthful past and get a ticket to unlawful freedom? Well, that was soon to be tested when a met a certain Mr. X offered my barren soul a gift in exchance for SEX! Had the offer not been so exorbitant I might have been insulted. The idea actually lingered on my mind for a while, it made me feel so sexy yet so dirty at the same time, until it was just all too sexy for me to handle.

I dogded Mr. X to find refuge at a girlfriends place. Over coffee, I was still steaming, we discussed the 'midnight movement ' that has suddenly up rooted itself in Bloemfontein. Young ladies, student mostly are not really prostituting themselfs ( as far as they say) but saying, " Why should I allow a man get away with it for free?"

Is this just another way of making easy money? or are these young, beautiful intelligent women only getting what is rightfully theirs? Should we condemn them or praise them for their forward thinking? Either way as long as we're having sex someone is paying for it and someone is benefiting, it's always a transaction like it or not, money or not.

Yes it's just another way of making easy money and in my books it's prostitution.  Having sex with the intent of gettting monetary value out of it is prostitution even if you are not parading on Oxford Road,
