I have carefully read all the comments. Only FK seems to have somehow worked out the voting system. For all the excitement, you can only vote your favourite to stay. I will watch and see how South Africa will not vote Elizabeth to stay after saving Liz last week. Elizabeth is the reason Itai gave for nominating the pair. The reason being that she switched Liz (a South African) for his pal Erastus. So why all the noise about Kelvin? Elizabeth is the target and Liz was the beneficiary. If you don't save Elizabeth then don't expect Tanzania to save Quinn and Liz the next time around they are up for eviction. How would Zambia save Hannington and Yacob that voted Paloma out. Do the maths and let the excitement flow from there. All these talk about Kelvin out won't work. Only the 15 voting blocks decide.

@dorothy777 - by now you should have realised that Sauti does not like the word P - we are all for Entertaiment and Drama - we dont care what Tanzania will do and not do.  If quinn is not giving me entertainment, I will actually assist Tanzania in voting him out.  If Liz is up and your granadila is up - I will vote for Liz.  

Please addicts - allow me to enjoy BBA until the end.  I dont want to end up witn non entertaining peole in the finals.

itai is a big disppointment to me.........................educated maybe, but he is too nice to win the game...................cannot strategise at all.

Morning addicts! Yakob was so desperate last nite, he decided to pick on the most "vulnerable" looking male in the house. He got more than he bargained for! Leentjie took him head on and I enjoyed watching him back down!!  Oh I luved it when Leentjie said "Are u done?" Al capone retreated into a small whole. It is not the SIZE of the dog. It is the size of the FIGHT in the dog!!!!

Teez I haven't seen the others being arrogants and even so we expect them to behave like that...Quinn on the other hand came in with this nice guy persona and now he is so arrogant....and even more irritating was when there names were said for nominations he did this " oh no!!! Teeza and Piz - Yacob, Quenn, Smelly and Kris are arrogant.

Quenn has been silent in the house for some time and the minute he starts opening his mouth - ARROGANCE is written all over his speech.  

Yacob and Smelly - have been like that since the day they walked into that house.  However, them saying that they stand a better chance against all the housemates except against Eddie - that pissed me off.  Who do they think they are?

Arrogance is arrogance - whether you show it day 1 or day 28 it is still arrogance.  Question though is - do you have something else to show other than your arrogance?

Nkenna has told her Housemates that she wants to leave the House. She came across as sad as she told them that she is tired of the scheming and tired of the game. She also told her fellow Housemates that she is home sick, but his partner-in-arms Itai told her that it’s all part of the game, and that she just has to be strong and stay in the game.

Itai of course has a vested interest in Nkenna staying in the House, because he thinks that if Nkenna voluntarily leaves the House, then he may have to leave the House.

It's Unfair
Itai was very upset as he realised the unfairness in having a partner that isn’t up to playing the game. Meanwhile, while Kristal advised Nkenna to think about her decision carefully and give it some time before she makes a final decision, Quinn dismissed Nkenna as attention seeking - while Mzamo pointed out that one of the hairdressers told Nkenna that she needed to be more visible in the House.

I'm asking this generally P, anyone can answer this one, because this thing of turning convos and debates into personal stuff just doesn't sit well with me. Whilst we are at that one, is it then preferable to be meek and mild? Is it acceptable to be retiring and let everyone walk all over u? I like what u say above here P. I have a problem with people thinking they are better than everybody - a huge part of being arrogant... If you are arrogant without that bit, I can stomach you... BUT if you are arrogant only for that... No! Not for me!

Some people have the arrogance that is centered on "I know more than you BUT I have not classed myself".. that arrogance is not a deal-breaker for me... What Krystal and Quinn have is the "I am lighter than you, so I am better" arrogance... bordering on racism... 

Yakahahaaa until yesterday, had the arrogance I kinda could stomach, but now he has flipped on me... Mxcimmm! arogance! am still saving my hennie... I just wish It would not save Yakahahaa!

I know that in SA a fraction of adults watch the show and most people hate the show... News: Football Fever
Date06/10/2009


Performance is everything!

This week's task will focus on the Housemates' soccer skills.

One of the major features of any Football game is Theatrics. Convincing the referee that he should award a penalty in your favour may be the greatest asset any soccer player can bring to a team.

For this reason, and for the next 3 days, whenever Big Brother blows the whistle, all Housemates will immediately drop to the ground as if mortally injured and appeal in the most dramatic way for a penalty until Big Brother sounds another signal.

Performance is everything!

Housemates also have 3 days in which to perfect a "signature trick: with a soccer ball. They have until Thursday evening to work on these.

Tuesday:
To start off today, Big Brother requires all Housemates to join together in a creative endeavor. First they need to redesign and build a Revolution World Cup.
The Housemates will also be required to play Blindfolded Football. Housemates must divide into teams of four - two pairs per team. The winning team will receive a special prize.

Wednesday:
On the soccer pitch in the Garden, Housemates will be required to play a 3-legged soccer match. The winning team will be exempt from cooking and washing up on that evening.
The Housemates will also be required to do a "round robin" Foosball tournament in their pairs. Big Brothers may have something special for the winners...

Thursday:
Housemates are expected to compose, rehearse and perform a brand new Revolutionary Soccer Anthem (preferably in 3 part harmony!)
After all of these tasks, the Housemates are expected to present to Big Brother. The presentation includes an opening flag parade, presentation of the new World Cup, Singing of the antthem, a display of the Housemates' signature soccer trick.

They are practising the song...they got a melody but now fsg is "writing" song...I thought she was a dancer, she "sings" also...gerry on guitar, eddie on african drums...itai looking like he wants to say something but words not coming. Mzamo is busy with cup design mhlungu playing soccer and kris helping with lyrics... I wonder where liz is? Can't wait for her to come tell them how crap their lyrics are (not that I am saying it's crap)

Kristal had a near death experience she fell out of the air...I think they climbed onto some fence with a cable or something didn't hear the first part. Apparently if the cable didn't snap she wouldve landed on her back paralysed...she fell on her side and the paramedics asked her how the hell she survived...who is gonna entertain her if yakaka should leave?

Yes to all the above. Liz says she has poor soccer skills, bcoz she goes shopping when people go play soccer. She thinks the womens alliance is strong but immaterial at this point bcoz of the pairing. She is surprised that she was not up. She is praying that itai "did the right thing"...wtf....she has no problems nominating H coz she didn't come to make friends. Liz on itai's hoh: he thinks that he is gonna get a gold star. He has a way of making people do stuff by saying ' be nice to me'. I think he forgets that he alreadyt made his swop. Over the weekend he said do this and I will protect you, but who is gonnna protect him next week!!! ( Itai deserves it, wimp). Lils sies then signs off and called her elizabeth. Ah, this caramel racist girl!  She is too much!  This Itai must swap her thing.  Why are they making it an ethical story?  They created the situation as to get the other alliance out, now they turn it to they must save Kristal because it is the ethical thing.  Making me sick. Untouchable?

It was certainly not ethical to CREATE the situation. 

And she is a damn liar also.  Told everyone who wants to listen that she is playing a truthful game and when Itai and Yacob asked her if she knew what was going to happen, she said no. I wonder if she knew what the word hypocrite actually means.

This country man and country loyalty talk  is getting on my last nerve.  She certainly did not think about her loyalty to him when she allowed her alliance to put her up.

Now suddenly she likes Leentjie.  A lot has happened since yesterday afternoon, when she and Miesies Queen had a gossip and giggled session about Leentjie.

People use to vote with heart and emotion and now thay just vote what other people tell them ( I fully agree). He is also not really worried if he leaves then fine. He hopes africa loves him and keeps him in, liz went through a phase where she wanted to date a kasi boy and she couldn't understand a word he said bcoz he spoke tsotsi taal... Yacob just gave an explanation of why they( him and Hannie) are so confident. He said that he believes H has been entertaining, controversial and has been playing an honest game. He says also brings in the other half, being honest and telling it like it is

1. Elizabeth is by all means the best dancer amongst all the Big Brother Revolution housemates

2. Elizabeth is the most beautiful of all the female housemates though Kristal would compete with her. No wonder she was in the top 10 finalists in the Miss Tanzania pageant.

3. Of all the East African Housemates, she is the only lady and the rest of the housemates from the region are bulls.

4. She is the first head of house among the ladies after Paloma lost out on the title, otherwise she could have been the first female head of house.

5. Age Factor: Elizabeth and Liz from South Africa are both aged 22, but it would take a lot of convincing to tell one that Liz(South Africa) is 22.

Summary of soap opera:

elizabeth and hannington are a couple....elizabeth finds out her mom,liz has been sleeping with her boyfriend. (Liz is perfect in this role, i wish I could type the whole dialogue, but you will see later, liz even went to go find the tightest shortest dress black dress) Liz then told her daughter that she falls in love to easily.

Enter Malawi who is dating quinn (and quinn had apparently asked her to marry him) who enters with leonel on his arm (leonel in a half shirt, stomach exposed doing the whole gay thing). He and malawi has a fight over quinn to which leonel goes: he is my man, leave him alone. (nw if you get to see this you will understand my laughter)

Everyone claps and someone I couldnt hear who it was): leonel, are you gay?
Leonel: no 100% straight....

I could feel the AWKWARDNESS as there was silence for a good half a minute..;...shem, why would they do that to leentjie....poor thing, hopefully bitchy would help her girl....

@Mathaz:  We don't exactly agree on favorites,... but on this one I agree with you.  Emma is a beautiful girl, and in my view, she is more beautiful than FSG.  Even Granadillatjie is prettier than Elizabeth.

 I also thought yeah, there goes the light skin thing again when I read that.  The O-peeps are just on another planet. 
  
As for the model part thing, I thought that Maggie has the looks, she was the most beautiful girl in the house for me.  But then beauty is subjective, so yeah.

I am not feeling this task,... I broke up with soccer a long time ago.  I ate, sleep, walk and breathe soccer for 2 years.  That was enough. 

I saw that soap opera, my Leentjie did me proud.  She was the gayest gay man alive.   It was one of the Nigerian biatches that messed with my Leentjie.  She was just jealous.

@ WSG, I don't especially like Kristal. But I think she's playing the game OK. Don't want to change your mind on Kristal, but what gets me is that everyone in the house is lying!! And the biggest liar of all is probably Yacob. But I had to crack up at Gillian's comments on conspiring vs lying. For me one of the probs of this year's show is that there are so few engaging housemates. Have to say though that I have soft spot for Liz. Generally enjoy her dry one-liners!

@MemeJ:  I am actually quite annoyed now.  I hope I am wrong, but I got the feeling that you have the right to express you opinions about housemates, and it would be fine.  But everytime I am expressing my opinions about housemates, especially the ones that you like, you have to get personal. You did this last year as well.  

You have said on this forum, and in the newspaper, less than flattering things about housemates which I liked and still like, but not once did I get personal. I do hope that we can focus on the housemates, and not get personal.

OK, points taken! It's not my intention to get personal though I guess I'm opinionated LOL! It stands to reason that we're going to like, dislike, etc, etc, different housemates. By the way, I saw an article on another BBA site claiming that the ratings for the show are down this year, and there's some panic behind the scenes, hence the "twists" coming so thick and so fast. It's not backed up by data or anything, but it's interesting nonetheless.
