Does it look like Dalene’s thawing out and warming up to anyone else?
She’s kissing her husband (when nobody’s looking!), smiling at everyone like the shines always shining on her - in fact, she comes across as a normal, happy, well-adjusted person.
Then Victor goes and drops the perlemoen bombshell on her!
Victor is deep in the dwang and so is his darling sister - smuggling perlemoen carries hefty fines and/or jailtime, if I’m not mistaken.
They’re caught between a rock and a hard place, between keeping quiet and earning interest illegally or admitting the problem and being prosecuted themselves.
Dalene’s decided to confront Bruce about what’s happened - unwittingly falling hook, line and sinker for Charles Johnson’s plan.
This week, things start heating up big time for Victor and Dalene. Remember, she told her little bro' not to worry and that she’d protect him. Now, if it was a walk-off with Bruce Hall that would determine her winning the battle - a lá Zoolander - Dalene would knock him out in round one. But she doesn’t know that Charles is the one behind all of this.
When she does figure it out, she tries to confront him. And we can just imagine how much of a bad idea that is…
And lo! And behold! Winston’s got some metal in him! He warned his wife about making that much money with Bruce so quickly and then lightly put it down to being the nagging husband. Then he gets on the phone quite surreptiously and asks someone to check out Bruce Hall for him.
What’s he gonna do about the situation if he finds out the backdoor dealings his wife’s been involved in? And will he pay the price for inquisitiveness? They say, curiosity killed the cat…
There’s a mysterious van following Sparks around. I must admit, I totally forgot about this storyline! It’s pretty cool though. Could it be related to the ‘dastardly deeds’ he’s been up to with Noli? Or maybe some old prison pals who want to say hi?
Remember in the first few episodes, he single-handedly got the prison warden arrested... As if he hasn’t got enough on his mind with Rochelle trying to court him! He’s gonna have to start looking back over his shoulder.
In the meantime, the chances of Victor and Noli ever making it to the alter look very slim. Both are hiding too much, wouldn’t you say? Surely something’s gotta give. Dalene will be most happy to see this union dissolve.
My Montana Behind-the-scenes Awards
• Hottest Mom Ever award: Ayanda Tini (Vatiswa) has a young, little one and she’s still a total knockout!
• Hottest Dad Ever award: Az Abrahams (Winston) has two little ones and, obviously being a guy he doesn’t have to deal with bodily birth issues. But look at the guy!!
• The Food Hoover Award: This is a massive tie between the three B-Boys. These guys ate like their lives depended on it!
• The Coolest Way to get to Work Award: Charles Tertiens (Victor) has a sexy hog - a huge motorbike that makes him quite irresistible!
