Some of the hairstyles we see these days are nothing short of INSANE.

We are all guilty of leaving the house with a really bad hair do, once in a while. Even celebrities are known to make the odd hair don’ts when styling their hair. Just because they grace magazine covers it doesn’t mean they can be trusted to look good all the time.

Some of the memorable hair moments:

The hairstylist (barber – more like) who did this to Pink is plainly heartless. 


Amy Winehouse – this looks like she would stash drugs under that heap of hair. It looks like you would find scorpions & all sorts of creatures there...Where is she BTW? 





Tyra - but ofcoz this one is photoshopped

This picture just makes me sulk with bitterness coz just not so long ago I was left with no choice but to go bald and no one could recognize me! I cant believe everything suits her, even being bald…she is fabulous..

Eryka Badu- added to her never ending list of intricate hairdos. When I look at this picture, only one thing comes to my mind: A lion 


Just imagine one day you get home & you find your man spotting something like this? 



Or maybe on your wedding day your man shows up looking like this? 


kwa kwa kwakwaaa! are these kinda hairstyles really allowed to be spotted on men?...eish nogal..!

i went to the salon on sunday and the lady did my hair so bad that im forced to wear isgqoko for this whole month **sigh** ....she blow dried my afro soooo much that it looked like ngine-relaxed hair and she topped it up by doing me a very crappy twist...mcim! i was mad but couldnt say anything to her.......yoh, ukunyaba kodwa sometimes....lol

Phikza, i took my niece to the salon th eother day..they plaited her "boom shaka' braids! can you imagine such loong braids on a 5 yr old? haibo some hairstyles are just not suitable for kids

nna i rember back in the my uncle was married to aus margater (now divorced)
she used to be hair dresser. there something she called mat (a straightback like) and there was bumber curl( she loved this one with passion and it looked hot)

stro..there are times when you just have no choice, believe me, i went o a salon to do a pomade..(coz my hairline was receding-from all those hair pieces i liked)  eheheeee, u would not have liked what that guy @ the salon did to me..I went bald & I had to walk across the mall  with a bald head to buy a wig!

I can imagine  i used to date a guy who wanted me to put hair food and oil in his hair all the time on his plaits haibo!!!!

i have always loved Dennis Rodman because if his strange hairstyles and now when you see me with strange hair styles you know where i get my inspiration from...like the hairstyle i have on right now......it turns heads...lol

i stopped relaxing hair a long time ago ... it is now afro all the way ... it is now very long and i dont even do blow drying ... just combing it .... i so want to do dreadlocks but my mother doesnt approve

i dont do relaxers anymore BA...my hair if just fluffy naturally..so when its relaxed it normally reminds me of cat's fur espesh when I have pushed it back..so it easily get affected by plaiting & the hair pieces

Oh My friend ... mine is very long now..goda and half ..but my mum doesnt like dread, so i will twist and untwist when i go home .... Joys of beig a child.

Not real Ms Tebby im more like daddy's gal..he is a free spirit that one, he let you be... my mum is very strict, you wouldnt want to get on her wrong side, she can take my whole her down, she hates dreads with passion

yho mina my  natural hair is so soft and when i relax my hair ngivele ngibe ikati enethiwe... so its short/bald. I'm glad that it suits me.

Tyra style doesnt suit her not at all. she looks too artificial.
