Battle of Quotes

Simply coz it’s Friday! I official declare Rubia Subow’s quote “TVSA Quote of the week” She is the chairlady of Kenya’s Women's Development Organizations Coalition
We have looked at all issues which can bring people to talk and we have seen that sex is the answer. It does not know tribe, it does not have a [political] party and it happens in the lowest households."-- 29 April 2009

Background info of quote: We all know something, no matter how little, about the bloodshed that wracked Kenya after last year's elections. With the recent political unrest in the east African country, Kenyan women decided enough is enough, gave their men ultimatum ‘Say goodbye to sex until you start to work together! For a week!
Whether the women’s efforts where a success or not only time will tell!

What’s your quote of the week? Let the battle begin! Can you overthrow mine?

Give and you shall receive.

Hey there is no other quote i find more inspiring that this because it's so simple yet it's packed with a whole lotta meaning. Of course, it's not meant to overthrow "your" quote but it's just one of those i love.

This too shall pass is another good one.

At the time it's said to you, you feel like screaming EFF OFF but later when you look back on the situation that's passed you realise it def is correct.

okay, now i'm going to google quotes to overthrow the one you posted.

The reason there's so much ignorance is that those who have it are so eager to share it.

"nobody trips on mountain, its the small pebbles that cause us to stumble. pass all pebbles in your path and you will realise that you have crossed a mountain."

i love this one because it puts an end to self pity and distractions. you learn to take it one step at time and overcome at the end!

happy friday mabloggers

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure

We ask ourselves:

Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

Actually

Who are you not to be?

We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same

I think this one has oevrthrown yours msdee LOL
