Season three of Nip/Tuck was the highest rated cable drama of 2005 and watching it again just proves why this show was a hit and its writers deserve praise for their work.

This is a look at Julia killing of an innocent women. A plane crashes just after take off in Miami. Julia's mother might be one of the passengers. This is after a serous fight they had at Julia’s spa. I know it seems this week my blogs dealt a lot with “mothers”. Hanukkah is just days away and I have to go see my mother. I am sweating in places I never knew it was even possible, because with her, I need to give an annual report of my life, ”Oi, vey”.

Here is sample of dialogue from the argument Julia had with her Mother. She was so upset, screaming at the top her lungs which made her turn into colours I never thought I’ll ever see on a chick. At some point I was sure she was going to just drop and faint. The shakes, spraying whilst talking (say it Julia don’t spay it) and the hair, not to mention the veins. Ewe much!

Erica: Ericsson defines love as "that which promotes another's growth"
Julia: Oh! You want to see me grow mother? Get the hell out of my life!

After this heated exchange, her mother leaves to board her plain back to her house. Everything turns bad as news of the plain crash reaches Julia only for her to be convinced that her mother was on that flight.

This drove Julia close to breaking point but she played her psychotic personality for all it was worth and displayed interesting levels of strength amidst the guarantee of death, as she walks through the bodies which needed urgent attention. Christian, Sean, Julia and Liz are all trying to save the lives of the people that survived the plane crash. This was overwhelming.

This is the second time in Nip/Tuck history that Julia is a "surgeon". Interestingly, it was also in episode 12 last season that she was given a chance to "operate"

I know I am not supposed to laugh, but this lady killed me flat, when she said “Do I need olive oil?” Worst of all is that when Julia had to rub some on her face and neck, she started shaking and gave such a bad excuse. Look at this….

There are so many things I would say to make you laugh, but felt it would be in very bad taste, what with the Holiday Season and all. Moving on.....

Back to Julia, Christian tells her they found what looks like her mother and things turn very interesting in what we’ve come to expect with Nip/Tuck. They showed this badly burned lady (they had a lot of those) and it was her mother, Erica.

Julia processed to address this corpse, in what sounded like the ultimate farewell. The one you give to someone whom you strongly believe they are on a no-return flight to the depths of hell.

This is what she said:
(talking to the body identified as Erica) Mother, it's Julia. What I said at the spa, it was only the anger talking. You know that, right? Do you remember... how old was I? About five or six... and you and Daddy had had this big fight and you took me by the hand and you said 'let's go Julia, we're leaving' and we went outside and we just walked for a long time in silence, holding hands. We went to the park... you showed me how to put a blade of grass in between my thumbs and blow on it to make a noise. I laughed and you took my face in your hands and you said 'I love you, little girl' And I squeezed you so tight and I said 'I love you too, Mommy.' And we both knew it was true. Do you remember? Then one day it wasn't true anymore. But I forgive you for not loving me. It's OK. I didn't love you either. I just craved... your approval like it was somehow possible to get. I saved a life tonight, Mother. Well, two lives actually. A stranger's and my own. So it's OK. You can leave now. I don't need you to tell me who I am any more.

As Julia walks away, the body opens its badly burned mouth and it starts gasping for air repeatedly, in what only only horror movies are known for. Creepy much! That was just pure horror in action.  Julia then turns and calmly grabs a pillow and then as if she is possessed. She pressed it on on her "mothers" face to block the the mouth which is gasping for air. She held it there until there was no sound. The poor women tried to fight, burned as she was, with the little energy she had. And it was over. Julia was so cold, it scared me.

This is one of the few episodes where there's no consult at McNamara/Troy

The mayhem of the plane crash cooled down, as a result of bodies loosing their ability to fight, including that badly burned lady cared for by Julia at the begining. As they try to rest, Julia asks Sean if she is bad person, that is after she murdered someone, her mother. Ofcourse Sean answers, no!

Julia arrives home with a look of ultimate relief on her face and BAM!

She finds Erica (her mother) sitting on the sofa, waiting for her. This is what Erica said as Julia’s face went into semi shock

Erica: Oh, sweetheart. I've been waiting for you all night. I couldn't leave the way things are between us. Did you hear the news? That earlier flight you wanted me on crashed

THUD! She just killed some innocent lady she was conviced it was her mother!

Happy Holidays and don’t forget to kiss your mummy!

I missed this one. I would have died instantly if my mom was waiting for me after I had killed her- creepy

I watched it and i was as shocked as Julia was when she saw her mother. I think it's one of the best dramas around, too bad it plays so late @ nyt
