WHAT IF???

I was watching 3Talk and they were talking about climbing mount kilimanjaro and i thought hayi suka, so i changed channels. I paused when a sexy video of the late Aaliyah playing with a snake, caught my attention.
Watching this video got me thinking, what if she were still alive? Would Beyonce be monopolising the hip- hop scene by booty hopping like this?

Then my mind started wondering, what if the ANC had not fired Mbeki? Would Cope be in existance today?
Then my pondering got a bit personal, what if i had accepted that marriage proposal? Would i be in this space that i'm in right now?
What if i had held on and continued with my Private Pilot's Licence training?

As much as they may say you can't relive history, you can't redo what has happened, but one cannot help but wonder...what if things had not happened the way they did???

Please note, we're not regretting anything here...just wondering....what if??????

I ran into a friend of yours the other day
And I asked her how you've been
She said my girl is fine; just bought a house, got a job, real good man
I told her I was glad for you; that's wonderful
But does she ever ask `bout me?
She said she's happy with her life right now
Let her go, let her be
And I told myself I would, but something in my heart just would not let you go
I just wanna know

[Chorus:]
What if we were wrong about each other?
What if you were really made for me?
What if we was `sposed to be together?
Would that not mean anything?
What if that was `sposed to be my house that you go home to every day?
How can you be sure that things are better?
If you can't be sure your heart is still here with me
Still wanting me

I can't explain it properly guys-but when slaughtering a cow-there's the fat between the skin and the meet-that's umhlwehlwe. The elders are suppose to wrap it around your shoulders or they tear enough for you to put in your head.

Some other parts of KZN believe that if it turns brownish in colour you are no longer a virgin (you are not pure anymore, white symbolises that mos). And ke it tears and sometimes it even falls when you there dancing-believe me I have seen it happen a couple of times.

For my umemulo I was stiffer than uMgobhi coz I didn't want any mistake!

I don't plan to get married, and besides, my parents know I am sexually active now, but they still have pride in knowing that at 21 I was still a virgin though. So they won't ask for 1st hand lobolla, they will ask for a second hand price for their daughter...LOL

Codzzz..some still do-especially those staying in farms...My cousin lobolad with livestock.

It's all about negotiating-if your man sends really good people they'd pay a reasonable price-if they are slow..then i feel sorry for your man. The cows are not the same price-the most expensive is the mother's cow (you being a virgin...eish) followed by your daddy's cow..the 9th cow is cheaper than the two and then ke from that point every cow is +- a third less then the one before it...(eg 8th cow is R3000, 7th cow would most probably be R2750 and so forth). The standard amount for most people is usually around R25000 (It differs from family to family)

What if I was I wondering what a mokete is?

Dear Cody

I'll try to be all Ghandi about this. Even if you find someone's article boring, what you did yesterday on my blog, announcing that you're moving to another article and canvassing for others to follow you, was offside. It is called sabotaging my blog, ukundi phaka inkunzi or jack-rolling my article. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate someone doing the same on your article.

It was UNCOOL. But no hard-feeling.
