Ya ne it is the Telkom weekend again, now with the so called big teams out and only Pirates left( and nooo Swallows is not a big team), one wonders if this weekend will show yet another Giant bombing out. The first clash will see Ya lla koto taking on Bay United (who are now officially the hoodoo team of Sundowns) . Ever since Stars took their home games to Charles Mopedi they have not been beaten, will Bay change this?
The second clash will see Swallows hosting Pirates in the less popular Soweto Derby. This promises to be the epic battle themed the final before the final. Pirates will look to beat Swallows who have looked somewhat dangerous since Julio Leal Caesar (etu Brute) took over, while Pirates have been so inconsistent since Ruud Krol took over. If last weekends performance against Free State Stars is anything to go by then it is inevitable that Pirates will be the next giant to be KNOCKED OUT. Pirates were missing clear-cut chances that seemed easy to score than miss but then again it is Pirates we are talking about here.
On Sunday Supersport United take on the inconsistent Siwelele. Will the man of the moment Mark Mayamabela playmake Masokolara to victory or will Anthony Laffor give SSU a Hunt for goals? Then later on which promises to be a great game Arrows will take on Ajax Cape Town to see which team will progress to the Semis.
This promises to be a great weekend of exciting soccer indeed!!!!!
