Hlubi's Thoughts: Week 5

Hiya Strictly Fans,

Well what a week …

I felt our performance and interpretation of the Paso Doble was well executed, like a supreme Matador and free flowing cape, we managed to elevate our position based on the judges votes to a satisfactory tied second position. We still haven’t managed to break our “30 point cherry”, but are gradually improving week in and week out. So watch this space.

The past week wasn’t without its drama.

As opposed to most of the competitors feeling the strain in their ankles and knees, I’ve got to admit that I’m feeling the pain in my mouth. Weird I know!!!

This obviously lead to an appointment with my dentist, a.k.a Edward Scissorhands, who has informed me that I’m in urgent need of root canal treatment.

It’s just going to have to wait until after Strictly. Painkillers will have to get me by till then (any pain killer manufacturer looking for an endorsement???).

My boyfriend’s loneliness, due to my countless hours spent rehearsing has led to him befriending one of our neighbour’s cats. The cat now spends more time at our place than at his owners; I hope that I still have my neighbours vote?

Preparation for this weeks Samba has started off with a vengeance, we have increased our daily rehearsal hours, so here’s hoping we perform the Samba with the same flair and finesse as the Brazilians (not Sundown’s to all my Chiefs peeps) play their football.

Dear Hlubikazi

When the contestants were anounce and i saw your nameamongst them i made up my mind to vote for you because i loved you.

The last two weeks you have forced me to change my mind about you. The things you say to Khutso are real uncalled for, he is a proffesional dancer, dancing is what he does best like you do your acting best. Your attitude dear has robbed you of many votes including mine, and what you told your sister Kuli and her going like that about Khutso on the national TV added a lot on you loosing votes.

i always loved you as Nandipha but Hlubi is not cup of tea. It isnt weird that your mouth is painful,after all the wide opening you did last Thursday, you mouth muscles were boung to be tired and painful, so close you mouth and you will be ok. is there a tree where you'll get money to buy pain killers.

Repect Khutso.

A word of advice , I know you probably don't need it or care , non the less I will still pass my words of wisdom.

The bigest problem with the so called "celebrities" in SA is that they start believing in their own hype, and herein lies your problem. You are a passebly successful actress, your ego and rude manner does not tally with your standing on the celebrity perking order. 

So please sisi get a grip , you should be kissing Khutso's a*** for doing his best to make you look good, cause you cannot dance to save your life. 

And please stop trying to look cute on screen , be yourself, although judging by your attitude you probably trying to hide your vile personality.

As for that sister of yours all I can say is she needs a reality check she was out of line with that rabid rant of hers and both you and her come across as desperate media wh**rs who are at the end of their so called celebrity shelf life.

Anyway I hope you are voted out this week as you and sis seem to think you are entitled to the undeservedly title of SCD.

Hlubi.

A word of advice , I know you probably don't need it or care , non the less I will still pass my words of wisdom.

The bigest problem with the so called "celebrities" in SA is that they start believing in their own hype, and herein lies your problem. You are a passebly successful actress, your ego and rude manner does not tally with your standing on the celebrity perking order. 

So please sisi get a grip , you should be kissing Khutso's a*** for doing his best to make you look good, cause you cannot dance to save your life. 

And please stop trying to look cute on screen , be yourself, although judging by your attitude you probably trying to hide your vile personality.

As for that sister of yours all I can say is she needs a reality check she was out of line with that rabid rant of hers and both you and her come across as desperate media wh**rs who are at the end of their so called celebrity shelf life.

Anyway I hope you are voted out this week as you and sis seem to think you are entitled to the undeservedly title of SCD.

Iam 100% sure that the SCD /TVSA media parnership will be cancelled after this blog and the things that were said on it. Guys, look at it this way; SCD has nothing to lose because the TVSA deal is not monetary. But i don't think the guys from Rapid Blue will allow their celebrity contestants to be put through this abuse. It just wont happen. TVSA will lose a great exposure deal just because people insist on being vicious. If it does happen the way i think it will, TVSA will also be hard-pressed to find another "media-parner" deal in the future.

MediaSlut, look at it this way. After reading this blog SCD will be glad to have celebrities who respect the proffesional dancers that they provide them with. I know maybe we are little bit out of line but Hlubi's attitude is unacceptable.

This will help the other contastant to behave in a way that not make us writes this. 
these peeps are getting paid for being in SCD. all they need to do is to listen to their TEACHERS and not give them RUDE statement like Hlubi does on Khutso.

I agree with this statement, but i think someone might disagree with calling uHlubi a "Broomstick" as a true opinion.

As for RGB/BIG BROTHER and radio programs being inspired by some of the blogs here, it's called research, journalists and content producers do their reserch on the net and if they are researching a subject and this website pops up, then they will go in and find out. My point is that the deal with SCD is on an official basis, why else would you guys bitch about whether the site got a mention or not? Because it is expected of the deal. Abo RGB will never mention the site's name. or give it any kind of respect. And the only thing that will end up hapnin is that guys here will suspect that some of the subjects discussed on radio shows or tv programs were lifted from here. Truth is, if its not official, you have no foot to stand on, and topics in and around the entertainment industry overlap all the time, so you can't even prove beyond a reasonable doubt that people COME HERE TO GET INSPIRED.

I don't give a damm who says what but Hlubi made us write all these comment. she's the one to be blame NOT us. and Kuli made it worse by that statement she made on LIVE Television during millions and millions of South African watching the FAV show SCD. Shame Poor Khutso!!!!!!!!

if SDC didn't want our Opinions, they wouldn't engaged parthership with TVSA.
they were looking for our opinion and here we are giving to them with HOP plate.

 Why almost everybody, would go agaisnt one person when there are 10 other contastants???  if we wanted to be nasty on SCD, we would be dizzling all of their contastants. but because we want to help a brother who's been in Hell for weeks now, and we are here to stay up untill the lady treat a brother with respect.

Hlubi is taking this dance thing way too seriously, she's committed bathong and Khutso being the perfectionist that he is, is pushing Hlubi so hard.

and don't forget amabloggers, you were all rooting for her when the competition started so she's under immense pressure to please you.

imagine giving your ultimate best and someone still pushing you so hard, am not saying Khutso did that but then maybe he did, you're bound to react somehow.

we all say things bethuna in a moment of pressure or anger and some things we say we regret later. let's not forget THIS IS A REALITY SHOW AND I'M SURE THE PRODUCERS LOVED SHOWING THAT INCIDENT WHEN HLUBI BURST OUT.

this is one of the reasons why I love Reality TV, people get worked up.

This is my take on this issue:

Hlubi is taking this dance thing way too seriously, she's committed bathong and Khutso being the perfectionist that he is, is pushing Hlubi so hard.

and don't forget amabloggers, you were all rooting for her when the competition started so she's under immense pressure to please you.

imagine giving your ultimate best and someone still pushing you so hard, am not saying Khutso did that but then maybe he did, you're bound to react somehow.

we all say things bethuna in a moment of pressure or anger and some things we say we regret later. let's not forget THIS IS A REALITY SHOW AND I'M SURE THE PRODUCERS LOVED SHOWING THAT INCIDENT WHEN HLUBI BURST OUT. 

now they should show where she apologize/d if she did or going to before you all eat  me alive

I am ambivalent about Hlubi's departure from SCD, one part of me is sad because I will not be seeing her there and the other part is happy because she does not have to write a blog and deal with you monsters!

I think Hlubi you are better off out of SCD, I love you, enjoy your weekend, one by one they will join you!

I doubt this, The only reason she was crying and devasted was because of that R9000.00 she wont be getting anymore and that doesnt make her better off without SCD.

Well not sure if this is the “appropriate” place to post this but since I’m responding to previous posts from THIS thread – I guess this is the only place to reply…….

I’m just want to respond to what you guys said previously about:

Here’s the “inside” scoop ………….. ;)

The reason Garth didn’t write his Episode 5 blog was because he has been UNBELIEVABLY busy. I know it sounds like a poor excuse but really guys – he’s burning the candle at both ends.

It’s not at all because of the “criticism” that he didn’t write it. From what he tells me – he really enjoys the TVSA blogger debates and says it adds some spice to the show. He really finds the blogging and replies incredibly entertaining and is grateful for the opportunity to interact directly with you all….. seriously, his words exactly.
As you know, Garth really REALLY appreciates all your support (or at least your comments) and really takes time and effort to provide you with something decent to read but these past few weeks have been insane.

As you may or may not know – Garth is busy shooting “Getroud Met Rugby” which is a new KykNet series.
He has to be on set at 06h30. Living in Pretoria he has to leave at about 05h00 which means he wakes up at about 04h30. Then he’s on set from 06h30 until 18h30!!! It’s also not a regular TV series shoot as it’s all about rugby and since Garth is playing the rugby captain – he spends the day running up and down a rugby field. It is really physically demanding. Then after his full day of shooting – he goes to dance rehearsals from about 19h00 – 22h30 and only get home for the first time at about 23h30 to be up again at 04h30!!!!

He’s really enjoying it all and giving BOTH shows his absolute best but he literally just hasn’t had the time to sit down and blog for a while.

Now here’s some inside info that you DON’T know …………………

On Tues night, I got a call from Garth at about 08h30. I wondered why he was phoning as he was supposed to be at SCD rehearsals. Turned out he was phoning me from Sunninghill hospital. He’s been complaining about pains in his groin area for a while and on Tuesday at rehearsals it reached the point where he couldn’t walk. He decided he couldn’t leave it any longer and went to the hospital to try find out what was wrong and to control the pain…..
Turns out the doctor thinks he tore his Inguinal Tendon (basically the tendon that holds the ab muscles) so the guy is in some major pain at the moment. The producer of SCD told Garth she wanted a clearance letter from the doctor otherwise she wouldn’t allow him to continue with the show. The doctor refused. Garth begged. The producer said “no”. Garth begged again and told her that he hasn’t gone through all this and worked this hard just to go out because of THIS! Eventually the producer agreed to let him carry on at his OWN risk. So he got some hectic pain meds and ………
………. AFTER all this – he then went BACK TO REHEARSALS!!!!!! Got home at 01h30 to wake up again and go shoot at 04h30!!!!!!!!!

Joe: Dr's prescribed some really good painkillers that, along with a muscle relaxant, are doing the trick for now. Could do with the wing bringer for some extra energy though.

Segololo: I plan on being around to entertain you all for many many years to come - at my last medical examination my doctor said I'd have to be beaten to death with a plank at 108 or I'd live forever. God bless you for caring!

WOW Segololo, shame Jax has her hands full as it is what with lecturing drama at 2 institutions, marketing offroad adventures into Botswana, her own freelance acting career and still managing mine - I think the last thing she'd want to do is blog for me. Actually.... now that you mention it......... JAAAAX....are you busy??
