I must admit that the nerves were getting the better of us so called ‘Celebrities’ on the stairs waiting to be introduced for the first elimination round, the pants didn’t help much either … even if one wanted to pee himself I would query the possibility.
Eventually it was BAAAAD FOR SHUGAS last week… I said it … ‘there’s no way I am leaving before Pork Chop’ … I could give another prediction but I won't … I’ll leave that to the pun(ndits) with croc smiles … Ssssup Dingiswayo Gugu Zulu …? you in the wrong show … but will give you a shout when Strictly Come Whining hits the screen? Now to matters of substance …
So Smakxxx is gone and am certain to miss him ‘am going to miss his partner more - love you much Seipati … it’s been outstanding … but if you want to get more of Smackxxx … ‘BUY MY ALBUM!!!’ … with that he sealed his fate, for it was not the first time he said it. I suspect that to be the reason he’s Strictly Come Dancing no more … by the way did you know that Judith also has a stunning new album?
Social Come Dancing … I think Strictly Come Socializing sounds better … but even that could not be further from the truth … that’s my disposition (that make you happy Segololo?) and my work.
What you saw in the insert was a fraction of how it unfolds … not just over the weekends … but on a daily basis, what they did not show is how my role quickly changed from a cameo appearance on a G.I video to a sound man when 20Something (a Red Pepper Production a company I work for weekdays) shoot took over.

There’s no smoke, therefore there is no fire … if you see smoke it must be one you’re puffing, but if you see a glow that’s because I wanted Robynn to have a good time. On Monday (the 20th) she arrived for rehearsals - her dance shoes wet, she was cold from the rain and she kept shrugging it off saying ‘no worries am fine’ … it broke my heart … this is one of the many reasons I have committed to rolling with it and giving it all that I have.
Thank you Khensani Nkosi and Stone Cherrie for turning a princess into a Queen and making her one evening in this fragile glass castle branded Jozi, one to remember. She quit her stable job and left Cape Town to do the show. For the record, I was not trying to redeem myself to anyone as Clark Gable puts it “Frankly my dear I don’t give a ….” this path I walk alone.
I wanted Robynn to witness what goes on in my world to understand where I was coming from, as much as I understand her institution. Besides, if we are to be the dance floor partners meant to capture the essence of each dance routine we need to be friends and understand one another.
This is aside from the enormous amount of time invested Monday to Monday to get the choreography done … any venture, begins in the distinction of the relationship and judging by the impression created on some people … its convincing … now we work!!!
I am thoroughly enjoying the show, as nerve wrecking as it is my competitive mettle does not endorse failure … try and fail but don’t fail to try my father always said.
I am soiling my pants at this instant trying to cram in the Tango steps and not getting enough rehearsal time (not because one wasn’t there) but because of a whole week of miscommunications from the co-coordinator and the dance studios and vise versa, we ended up with 8 hr rehearsals in all of 5 days - the rest was spent waiting our turn for the studious (even if it meant sneaking in) …
Robynn’s confidence instills a sense of composure and calm, I don’t want to let her or my gung ho resolve inoperative and I am plenteously aware that we can not do it by ourselves your votes we’ll take us a long way … so despite your first idea of me … please vote our way … couple no. 8 - 34766 - I venture to bequeath my all, thanking you in advance.
