Women on Death Row returns in a third Special to profile more women awaiting execution on Death Row. Each was convicted of committing murder.
This program dramatically re-tells each of these women’s stories, and examines the contradiction between the feminine, maternal and, in most cases, loving aspects of womanhood, with the horrible, rage-filled murders they have committed.
Since 1976, ten women have been executed for their capital crimes; and, as of October 2004, 52 other women were currently waiting to be executed.
