Judith's Thoughts: Week 1

SCD has been great so far. After a whole month of serious training my body is now feeling better than it did when we started.

I enjoy my training very much but the scariest thing for me was being on that dance floor for the first time. We did the salsa which didn't go so well for me.

I am very glad though that the first week has gone by and the ice is broken.

Now we are getting into some real business. No more aches and pains. Its been a great enjoyable month up to so far. Had a few great shows in the middle of all of it, one of which is the Chaka Khan show and the Macufe concert in Bloemfontein with SIphokazi and Angelique Kidjo.

It's hard having two careers. Yeah, dancing is now a career. I find that one gets really tired by the time Thursday comes but I am excited about this week.

Yesterday I sprained my ankle. Didn't say anything to anyone. I just went to physio and I am definately dancing on Thursday. I was very scared.

I got so inspired when Salome and Dave commented on the salsa that I just wanted Thursday to come so I can dance what Eksteen has been teaching for the past month.

With all of that, I am very excited and looking forward to the cha cha cha this Thursday.

So, my friends, my fans, let's get ready to rumble.

Thanks to all of you who believe in me.

Love you lots,
Judith Sephuma

Whether she is 30 or 20 okusalayo she looks mamarish and deserves to be called Mme. It just wouldn't feel right to call her by her name, call it respect Kapakapa.
