This past Wednesday (24 September) at 17h30 Channel O launched a special companion show to the Video Music Awards coming up at Carnival City on 9 October.
The half-hour show's called Many Nations One Award and profiles all the Award nominees from round Africa in eight episodes - broadcast daily across eight days.
It's hosted by Channel O VJ Rachel Stuart who spends a day in the life of each of the 52 nominees. Each nominee introduces their music, their families, their fans, their cultures and their country as a whole.
Produced by Bounceback Media and sponsored by The City of Ekurhuleni, the show travels all over to get the muso's story's.
Today's episode (Friday, 26) is the third in the series and it ends next Wednesday, 1 October.
The Awards will be broadcast on Channel O on 23 October. We'll keep you posted if there's a repeat of the special before then.
