Morning y’all…
First… thanks to everyone that responded on my Zu** article… I’ve always believed I don’t have a single political bone in my body.. and I’m quite opinionated in a lot of issues, but holding political arguments has never been one of my strong points… so, the response to that article really assured me that I DO actually have a 2cents’ worth on political matters…
Anyway… I don’t want to go into the “we’ll crush you” comments (which I don wan to entertain)…so, lemme say what this article is about….
I don’t really have friends that are mothers, so the few that I have, I totally admire.
Today, I'd like to celebrate my friend, Cnglemother. It’s her boy’s birthday…
Cnglema is one of the people that I only know in cyberland but I can feel how real she is… She’s oozing with confidence and that is the one thing that draws me to her… I know she’s not scared of being herself.
So, choma… today, as you celebrate this day and remember those 3 seconds a few years back, when the doctor said “it’s a boy”…. Know that there are people like me, that are celebrating your life and that think you are pretty amazing. And know that I really, really , totally believe that you are a great mother, and your boy is enormously fortunate to be raised by you. Keep strong, mngani… we love you!
