OMG, OMG, OMG-----where do I start? Last night DH was jam-packed with goodies. I won’t do a recap, I’ll just touch on those scenes that stood out for me.
1st up, Carlos is out of jail. Found religion and through some lobby/appeal of some Christian group, he was released. What Gabbie didn’t realize was that Carlos would bring home with him some form of baggage. Baggage in the form of a STREETWISE nun. A nun that is responsible for Carlos’ sudden change of materialistic nature. More abt this later.
George tried to woo Bree back in his life by parking outside her home and singing a really lousy comeback song. I think Bree was more upset about the damn song than she was about being embarrassed in front of her guests. When she failed to get George to drive off in his “Karaoke Van”, she the went up to her room and shot the damn sound system off the van-leaving George and his pathetic face astounded! Gotta love Bree!
Susan hatched up some plan to meet her father and get him to like her. She decided she’d go and work at his store and that once they got on, he would suddenly say ,
“You’re like the daughter I never had.” and Susan would say, “Well, what do you know, I am your daughter!”
Susan hands in an application, her father says she’s overqualified, Susan mentions he has beautiful eyes, eyes that look like hers, her father freaks out thinking his wife sent this woman to seduce him, then he tries to throw her out of his store and says something about Susan having a sexy body and a tight ass which freaks Susan out and she blurts out that she’s his daughter! Her father then goes into some room in the back of the store and collapses of a heart attack…talk about killing someone with love.
He ends up in hospital with Susan in the room and he tells her that he doesn’t want to be part of Susan’s life. He had made a deal with Susan’s mother years ago that there would be no contact and his wife would be upset if she found out about this “love child”. In the end, Susan kept this secret from his wife but promised him that she aint giving up on him.
Lynette caught Nina Fletcher and the receptionist in the act.
Tried to blackmail Nina into being less of a bitch, the receptionist lost his job,Lynette felt guilty, went to see him and convinced him to try and get his job back by threatening to sue the company for sexual harassment; plan backfired when the receptionist did exactly that, CEO went on a firing spree cause the company won’t have money to pay salaries if the sexual harassment case went to court, Lynette ended up with Nina’s job and more guilt about what she’s responsible for.
Carlos and Gabbie invited the nun over for lunch and discussed charities and materialistic desires,
Gabbie made
not so christian comments about how religion tries to fool poor people into thinking wealth is not desirable; to prove her wrong, Carlos mentioned that he'd give away his car for the nun's causes and went upstairs to get his keys; Gabbie followed him upstairs, made hectic moves on him and after a steaming session in bed managed to change Carlos' mind about the donation, she then went downstairs, gracefully shoo'd the nun out of her home and we almost witness a bitch-slap between them.
Gabbie told Streetwise nun to back off and leave her husband alone otherwise she's bring her down; streetwise told Gabbie she had grown in the white version of the 'hood and had God on her side so she aint afraid and Gabbie could bring it on!
Later on Bree had a chat with her shrink and discovered that the man that had pushed him off the bridge was on a blue bike. George has a blue bike and Bree is now aware of how MENTAL George is so she figured out it must be him that did it. She called the police and told them about George. George saw the policemen outside his home and sprinted.
exhibit AHe later ended up at some hotel where Bree was attending a charity function, swallowed pills and alcohol and made sure that Bree came up to see him while he was dying cause he figured Bree would feel sorry for him and save him-thus confirming that she forgave him everything and would take him back.
Well Bree sat there and watched him die-
I hope.
Is George trying to implicate Bree in his death???????
If you want to see more of George, catch him as the gay Roger in Stepford Wives.
