New On M-Net Series in May, 2008:

Talk Show With Spike Feresten Season 2
Premiere date: Thursday, 21 May at 23h00

A 30-minute comedy-talk show hosted by comedian and screenwriter Spike Feresten featuring sketches and excursions onto the street. Passers-by, celebrity guests and the show's staff are all fair game for Feresten.

The show includes experimental comedy, pop-culture parodies and a studio audience.

The show premieres for the first time on M-Net Series with Season 2.

Love My Way 3
Premiere date: Thursday, 8 May at 21h00

Love My Way returns for a 3rd season of love, hate, truth, lies, jealousy and anger.

An Australian series, the show deals with a 30-something woman negotiating a web of relationships, family obligations, love and her career - all with the hope that "happiness" might occur if all things fall into place.

Cold Squad 1
Premiere date: 12 May, 2008 at 22h00

Cold Squad is a one-hour police procedural that focuses on 'cold cases', i.e. unsolvable cases that have gone for years without a solution. Each week there is a new 'cold case' brought out of the woodwork to solve, which may date back five years, or could even date back fifty years.

The show centres around Cold Squad Sgt. Ali McCormick. Although she isn't the official head of the unit, her opinion is invaluable to the other workers. She is backed up by a team of highly skilled professionals who are also her good friends.

Charmed 8
Premiere date: Sunday, 18 May 2008 at 22h00

After seven years of protecting the innocent, fighting demons and ridding the world of evil, the Halliwell sisters have begun an 8th season search for a different destiny - to live a normal life free of fighting demons.

As “The Charmed Ones, the sisters previously faked their own deaths and created new identities, altering their appearances to the outside world, but appearing as themselves to those closest to them. Now, they must reconcile with their own guilt about not fighting the supernatural evil that continues in the world.

PSI Factor 3
Premiere date: Monday, 27 May 2008 at 19h00

Psi Factor (the title refers to “Psi”, the Greek letter for the unknown) is hosted by Dan Aykroyd, who previously drew from a life-long interest in the paranormal when researching and co-writing the scripts for Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II.

A private supporter of investigative and analytical paranormal organisations, Ackroyd also acts as a script consultant on Psi Factor and has been involved in the production since its inception.

Psi Factor dramatises stories inspired by the actual case files of the Office of Scientific Investigation and Research (O.S.I.R), a privately funded research organisation that has been in operation for over 20 years.

The O.S.I R. is comprised of more than 300 scientists and researchers who investigate all manner of paranormal and unusual phenomena that exist in our world, including incidents of telekinesis, telepathy, ghosts, poltergeists, alien abductions, reincarnation and time travel.

Psi Factor is a Canadian production containing 88 episodes in four seasons and was filmed in Toronto, Ontario.

Touched By An Angel 7
Premiere date: Monday, 27 May 2008 at 20h00

Tess and Monica are angels sent down to Earth to help those with problems. This seventh season sees them continue in their mission of assisting people with different problems.

While dealing with each situation, the angels also try to re-establish faith and belief in Christian principles.

They are assisted by Andrew, the Angel of Death, Gloria and other angel-friends.
