>>The Suite Life of Zack & Cody - 888,000<<

Will somebody please shoot me?

Just looking at the top 10 shows for SABC2, they're all locally produced so I can kinda understand their plans to shove (really good) international shows into the more ridiculous timeslots and give primetime to local content.

People do love SABC 1 don't they?

Cause they dont feel connected to any other channel than S1. The channel is talking to them so they feel there is no need to explore more. and the more you go up in the LSM scale that's when people feel the need to see what else is available.

i always end up in a moment of trauma when i read these stats....i understand what Tizoz is saying but still....someone needs to take me through this step by step....maybe i've got the wrong idea of entertainment.

Look at it this way Bra Bizza.... if you were staying in Deep KZN where they see a car once in a while and going to town (not even a big city) is a priviledge, That person have access to a TV. You have 3 channels at most S1 to S3, maybe include e.

Hhich of the following programmes are you likely to watch

Emzini wezinsizwa (I cringe writing this one)
Jika maJika
Pasella
Curious Culture
Isidingo
Desperate Housewives
Scandal
WWE Raw

Bear in mind how big that audience is....

Then you come to Townships and cities where kids go to Model c schools, and parents are working as domestics... what programmes are they likely to be subjected to?

It is not about entertainment as you see it, it's about you grew up surrounded by jika majika, what else do u do, you will watch jika majika.
