Grillz, Gold Teeth or whatever you decide to call them, what possesses people to put those things in their mouths?

Okay, I know Dentists use gold for filling cavities and stuff but beyond medical reasons, why do people do this?
Is it stylish? Does it make you look like you got money?

With Hip Hop guys, it's all about being blinged up we know, but still, it's so not cute!

I know we all have different personal tastes & styles so for me, this is an absolute turn off and there is no way in hell I'm kissing/dating a guy with this in his mouth.
My younger sister has a gold tooth, I don't know why or how she got it but hayi shame, I don't like it, period.

Do you have a gold tooth/teeth?
If yes, then why do you have it?
Would you date a gal/guy with a gold tooth?

I honestly don't understand the whole gold tooth concept so please holla.

Still, am no kissing anybody with those things.
One of my friends once dated a guy who had the L & the star shape on his front teeth and I asked her how she manages to kiss him like that, she was sooo pissed with me hey...

Ya! I feel you Flo-jo, this was the style sama 90's but i guess its HUGE oversease because you can hardly see a rapster not having those Bling Bling teeth. I gues NGARE uyi-hot shot uma unamazinyo ashaynayo but here....well its sooooooooo out of style, its like wearing i-Luther and wearing more than one chain in your neck.

Mh....gold tooth is a big no, no for me. It is not a turn on at all. Rather a turn-off. Back then, it would work, now? I dont think so. And while we are on this, can someone please tell Sebolelo Makoanyane that a big ear-ring like that on the nose is a bit 90s. Oh, and that over the top Walter Mokoena that not all spectacles cut it for TV. Who else? nxa, ba ya tena man these so called tv personalities.

......wearing more than one chain in your neck. Eish @ Msoe that was a hectic style still do nt like chains on brothers. The same applies to having all gold fingers, I once grabbed rings off my then boyfriend's fingers at some party. There was just no ways I was gonna be caught dead next to a Georgie Zamndela! He'd been hanging out with these shady guys and "voila" his fingers were also blinged up.

MAJOR TURN OFF - even if it's just one, whether u-L, U, T or whatever, it's jus a turn off for mina. I just think that people that put these gold teeth are attention seekers. I believe in always maintaining natural look as often as possible, coz that's when we are most beautiul as human beings!!!

To think that I was hassling my parents for a gold tooth ko high school..I'm actually thanking them (silently) that they refused..period......n my younger sister always reminds of that.

I recently broken up with this guy onang le U and Full on front teeth, my gosh I didn't know how to tell him to get rid of those things....and he's very dark in complexion....even now I'm still confused..don't know whether it was love or pity....when he talks or smiles all u see is that yellow stufff!!!!

Some time ago,ne ke ile ko spetlele to visit relative enngwe ya ka so,anyways,as I'm making my way to the gate,ke bona motho a atlhame mo godimo ga crate ya Coke,ba ntse ba kokotella something mo molomomg wa gage,so I decided to take a closer look,this dude,o tsenya gold,and motho a mo tsenyang gold,is some dude a apereng the celtics jersey!!!!!!!!I laughed so much neh!!!

Then some nurse says to the dude,"Ga o hetsa moo,o hle o tsene mo spatala klaar!!!(with a bloem accent)meaning once you are done,go straight to the hospital!!It had to be the funniest thing I've seen this year.....

i once wanted a gold tooth ka di 90's and i asked my mother if i can have it and she told me gore "no my girl you are not getting any" and her reason for that was "did you eva seen any beaty queen/contestants with a gold tooth/teeth"

now i know i didn't have any - thankz to my mother - but guyz imagine ** wait until you are called grandmother/father and the kidz across the street gives you funny names like - koko wa meno adigold or grandma with gold teeth <how hippocratic>. imagine

Iyoo,I cried so much when my mom told me I wasnt getting a GOLD.I just thought she was being mean,but now I cant stop thanking her everytime I see someone with a GOLD in their mouth :-)

@ Suddencute: what I meant to say ke gore most policemen and women have gold teeth simply because their medical aid (BONITAS) didn't give them hassles when it came to accessorising their mouth/s.....I still don't know how the mistresses (female teachers) didn't join in the gold tooth thing.

There is this young beautiful new lady at work that had a mirror effect (L) = "_II_ " on the front teef, she has since removed both Ls.

Apparently she and himself did the blinging together. She was left with a gap and amazinyo atsolo (sharp teeth) on both edges. When i saw her I thought it was another case of an awkward dental formula! Maar things we do for love.
