scarlett_bigWhen I filled you in about DStv's shuffle and the five new channels they're getting I mentioned there would be a lifestyle channel that they hadn't confirmed yet.

They've just announced that the deal with the channel's sealed and the bood (bad/good) news is that it's going to drive us beserk and also be addictive 'cos it's the Style Network - E!'s sister fashion channel that covers both celeb and reality goss and trends with E!'s look and feel.

Their shows include things like Style Star and the Fashion Police plus they've got various other shows that cover interior decorating, people and home makeovers, "How to's" and that sort of thing. To get an idea of what we can expect, check out their website: Style Network.

Here are the finalised dates for the launch of the five new channels:

M-Net Stars
(More info)
Channel 154
Launch date: 1 November.

Sony Entertainment TV
(More info)
Channel 108
Launch date: 2 November

Animax
(Anime channel)
Channel 111
Launch date: 3 November

One Gospel
(Gospel channel)
Channel 331
Launch date: 4 November

Style Network
Channel 183
Launch date: 5 November

PS: Style Network's also got Dr 902-SCUM-O - I wasn't in the mood to talk about it 'cos of how much it needs a slap but now I'm wondering (and worried about) what the story's going to be with it on E!.

With Fashion Police and Style Star they're not on all the time so it's not such a big issue if they're on both channels but 90210's on every minute. They can't expect us to watch the same creepy show on two channels for the same price. Will find out what they're planning and get back to you.

Shows in this post: Dr. 90210

Channels in this post: Style, E! Africa, Sony Channel

Hold your horses BS, maybe these channels will only be on Compact & that upcoming R18 thing.

Me & my bf are still angry about the DSTV staff for not giving us Soweto TV and we are think about UPGRADING to compact next month.
