JP Calderon: The Meathead

When I first saw JP Calderon’s picture, I thought I was suddenly seeing a flashback to Jonathan’s youth. If they ever need someone to play the lead role in the Hallmark original movie Surviving Hollywood: The Jonathan Penner Story, just slap some contacts on JP and he’s your guy.

JP is a professional volleyball player and head trainer for an all-girls volleyball team. He doesn’t seem to have any entertainment experience despite living in California but I’m sure he secretly has dreams of a volleyball-based reality show like the rest of these contestants.

Wait, no. I’m wrong. He’s already done some modelling. Cancel the parade.

Both of JP’s parents passed away from cancer and therefore he hopes to work with charities and organisations to do with cancer research. Volleyball for Cancer does have a nice ring to it but how would it make money?

He is a fitness freak who enjoys going to the gym, lifting weights, canoeing, running, swimming and hiking. He reads Men’s Health. He has no favourite books or authors. He is, in other words, a Meathead.
