Cristina Coria: The Bionic Woman

Cristina Coria is a cop who comes from a family of police officers. When she was 12, her father was shot and killed in an unsolved murder. Sounds like a good character backstory for a TV show, doesn’t it? I’ll call the producers of Columbo right now…

She has suffered two life-threatening experiences, the first when she was pinned to her car by a drunk driver and the second when she was shot in her arm. Doctors said she might lose her arm and would never regain its full use or return back to work. But through perseverance, faith, dedication and six million dollar cybernetic implants, she was able to use her arm again.

When she’s not defeating criminal scumbags on the streets of LA, she’s worked as a technical consultant on that J-Lo masterpiece, Angel Eyes. She’s also appeared on E! Entertainment Channel and the Discovery Channel. Even the so-called more normal folks this season are all secretly famewhores. Joy.

She gives one of her favourite movies as Angel Eyes and one of her favourite actresses as Jennifer Lopez. Hey, that’s cheating! That’s like Jonathan Penner giving his favourite actor as Jonathan Penner. Her favourite books are First Love Languages and Dr Phil’s Relationship Rescue. Oy. I think that says it all, really.
