SAD... TO HEAR THE PATHETIC WAY THE WRITER OF THE ARTICLE HAS DESCRIBED TVSA... THAT IT IS "NOTHING MORE THAN A PLACE OF FANS OF PROGRAMMES LIKE GENERATIONS TO RANT & RAVE ABOUT THE QUALITY, ACTORS AND SCRIPTS...." >>>>>>>>>HOWEVER, I THINK THERE'Z ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT ON STUFF,,, LIKE,,, WE ALL NEED TO BE MORE URGY AND TELLING THINGZ LIKE THEY R, AND NOT BE A SIMPLE "ONLINE DISCUSSION FORUM" LIKE THE WRITER OF THE dayyum ARTICLE SAYZ WE ARE. Sometimes you will find the admin people @ tvsa hating & threatening on some outspoken and urgy bloggs, saying they are vulgar when only words like "F*** /or B***** are used. PEACE YALL!

Eish Noxi I didn't take it this way...

I agree, that wasn't a put-down at all.  All he was saying is that the idea behind TVSA is that it's a place where fans can discuss the shows and that it's nothing more elaborate than that.

TVSA is an online discussion forum and always will be.  The writer is definitely praising TVSA and it's users, not criticising them at all.

very in-te-re-stin indeed....Noxi that was'nt a pathetic description of TVSA in fact its not far from the truth...anyway  I wonder who said sungthin about celebs and friends  LOL hi hi ....Mr Boyd, you must understand TVsa has bloggers from all walks of life, different educational and cultural and social backgrounds, so that syntax thing........whatever,

like Steve Biko said...I write what I like

but I agree that RGB needs to be mroe edgier and have that shock effect found in most gossip shows

Thank you Mr Boyd, but hey refrain from calling us people on the streets, I am so living in a mansion doll not on the street. LoL( just kidding man, I know it is figure of speech ha haha)

On a serious note, i agree with the writer of this article when he/she says "Its not quite as controversial as it advertises itself"
he he he I feel like a celeb, my replies are being read by newspaper journalists? Wow!

hahahahhahaaaaaaa siyaqhelwa shame!

Jordan
13 Aug 2007 09:18

Maybe it's me neh, but I don't think one can construct syntax since syntax means grammar or sentence structure. One constructs a sentence mos neh?

Toxic
13 Aug 2007 09:23

I'm well Jordan, wena? I got that impression (cannot construct proper English sentences) too mara i can't find the comment that gave rise to that impression...

1. Show us some real dirt, don't be scared.
2. I don't see show-revealing real Mgozi like the Sunday papers, because the presenters seem to be friends with some of the celebs.

Which of these two does the writer have a problem with..eintlik who wrote these comments cause nna, i can't find them on the site?

KeleFabulous
13 Aug 2007 09:27

ohhh..now it pops up...eish!

i think this is great publicity. but now what does "constructing syntax" have to dowith anything??? last time i checked tvsa is not a job or school where u have to be careful with ur english/grammar/typing/etc...we all get what the other person's trying to say and understand that we simply don't have time to "construct proper syntax"...this is something we do in our real jobs! whoever wrote that article clearly does not know the meaning of unwinding.

i'm off now! hopefully 2morrow i'll have a better connection cos i sure misd u guys today! by by!!!!

Marara
13 Aug 2007 09:30

and thina we are at work, we'r stealing our employer's time. as long as the main verb is there, one can construct the sentenses in the order that suits him/herself.... am sick and tired of these journalists who try to shine on our shine... fokof maan!

Jordan
13 Aug 2007 09:34

Maybe the person who wrote this ke Proffesor Mang Mang and he/she originated the English language. Clearly he sees thing that mere mortals like us are missing.

Maybe he can tell us what "superficial cliche" is, because as far as I know, it's either something it's a cliche, or it's not. Do enlighten me, great one!!!

Jordan
13 Aug 2007 09:36

Okusalayo he put TVSA on paper 4 everybody to see that we exist, whether our english sucks or not, we really don't care. Some of us have a lot to comment on and most of us can only access internet at work, so there's no time to proof-read. Anyway we thank him for the publicity.
