Welcome to the first episode of the first ever TVSA Gold Podcast, exclusive to TVSA Gold members.

This podcast will be a weekly event, covering all manner of TV-related gossip and news. It is hosted by TVSA Editors Luke and Tashi Tagg, with inserts by Brown Shuga and other bloggers and celebrities.

In our first episode we chat about the latest developments with the upcoming Big Brother Africa (starting Sunday!), chat to Brown Shuga about what's coming up on Blogiwood and The Real Goboza this week (hot stuff on RGB - take our word for it!), and preview an exciting new acquisition by SABC3 - the much-loved sci-fi show Jericho.

Totally cool guys, I thoroughly enjoy listening to you two being naughty and all, you guys totally crack me up.

Agree about the BB contestants, ply the lot with alcohol and then you'll get the best out of them, who wants to hear about people wanting to be role models, *bleep!*, we want the contestants to entertain us.

Tashi, enjoy your overnight visit to the BB house, can't wait to hear what you have for us on Friday.

I can't believe BB is starting this Sunday already, it seem so soon, what with Survivor also starting this month and Idols as well I think, we're in for a bumper reality fest this August.

Ooooh, just heard it. Fab stuff. You guys work well together. Better than most radio DJs (I know that's not saying much but it's supposed to be a compliment). Love the music. It sounds familiar - is it from Six Feet Under?

etv isn't completely useless at sci-fi, they did show Cit's beloved Babylon 5 a long while back. So 97% useless then.

The opening music is from Heroes obviously so I'll take a wild stab and guess the closing music is also from there. And now I feel dumb for not having recognised it the first time.

Yup - Heroes it is. :) Each week will have a different theme music - both intro and outtro.
