Things are sad in Generations and there are lots of unhappy people all over the place.
Karabo's son, Siyabonga has finally succumbed to whatever illness he had and died. Karabo is distraught, she doesn't eat, talk, change, take a bath or whatever. All she does is sit in her dead child's nursery, refusing to accept the fact that he is gone.
Sibusiso is going out of his mind too but only because Karabo is shutting him out completely. Really Karabs, it's not Sbusiso's fault that the baby died, why must he suffer?
Ntombi came to pay Karabo a visit to apologize for the fall Karabo had but Karabo tells her she will never forgive her.
That left Ntombi speechless and she went crawling back to Mashaba's mansion.
When Sbusiso tried to speak to Karabo about making funeral arrangements, she just ignored him and told him she didn't want to see anyone. Not Queen, not Busi and definitely not Ntombi.
I don't know what Busi and Queen supposedly did to her, maybe they also didn't sleep at the hospital coz it sounds like life had to stop just because that one night stand baby was sick. Karabo watches too much TV.
I understand (a little) why she would be upset that Sbusiso did not come to check up on her and Siyabonga that one night but why does she make it look like she's the only one who's hurt by all of this? She knows Sbusiso wanted that baby to live and even went as far as marrying her, without love (
never mind that she wants him) just for his sake!
For some strange reason, Karabo preferred pouring her heart out to Anne, who is becoming more "
visually unbearable" with each episode. Oh, could be because Anne knows what it's like to lose a child, I still don't understand that whole "
Anne had a baby saga".
Is it normal for someone to deal with death the way Karabo is? What do you think about her blaming Ntombi for this? Wasn't she the one who started that whole thing?
In other news...
Dineo has finally realized that Kenneth sees her as nothing but a trophy wife who needs to :
- look good when he has important clients to meet
- make sure that he is kept fed and happy
- make sure his bed is kept warm
- make sure his breakfast is ready
therefore Dinny has decided to take her relationship with Thomas to the next level, only they don't know what the next level is.
I'll clarify it for them,
the next level is getting kicked out of Shabisto's house. They better be ready. I honestly get scared whenever they kiss and I always think Kenneth would walk in but he never does.
I am keen to know how this story is going to unfold because Kenneth is one tough cookie. I also agree with suggestions that he should hook up with Ntombi, it would definitely spice things up.
DREAMING UP THE PLOT...Ntombi gets preggers with Kenneth's child, she finds out just as she and Sbuda are getting back together and the tables are turned.
Mashaba is divorcing Dineo due to The Thomas Affair (TTA) coz she wants to marry Sbuda and now Ntombi is torn between marrying her father's baby (her parents insist on it) and marrying the man who holds the key to her heart, Sbusiso (her parents hate Sbuda for what happened with Karabo).
On the other hand, Sbusiso is begging Ntombi not to marry Mashaba because he thinks Kenneth does not love her and only wants to marry Ntombi coz he's bent on destroying him.
Dineo and Thomas are of course living at the commune....
Karabo is jealous of Ntombi's pregnancy and she hooks up with Anne (new actress playing the part) to try and come up with ways for Ntombi to lose the baby just like Karabo did.
Karabo is no more Mrs Nice Gal, she is nasty, Anne is an angel compared to her. She hates Sbusiso for leaving her, quit her company, after selling her shares to Anne, of course and her sole purpose in life is to kill Ntombi's baby by any means necessary.
Jack Mabaso asks Busi to go away with him and they go coz Busi sees herself as a failure and wants to go and start her life afresh somewhere.
Khethiwe, Khaphela, Zamani & Ajax died during the Siqalo Fire (as suggested by one of the readers) so there are no more boring characters in the soap.
Oh, forgot one more.
Duma decides to remember Ajax by going on a motorbike ride and ends up being hit by a train. No more dreads.
Okay, sounds a bit promising...somebody please continue the story from here....
