After weeks and weeks of speculation about how Ntombi was going to find out about Karabo's pregnancy, it all happens in the most stupid way ever!
Ntombi reacts to the news by giving Karabo the biggest klap she has ever had in her life and damn, I won't believe if the baby is now all of a sudden sick because of that klap.
Okay, let's take a few steps back so we can remember what happened last:
So Ntombi and Samuel were forcefully removed from what they knew as "home" so that they can do what was expected of them. Ntombi had to marry Sphamandla, damn this ended without us even seeing the guy. Samuel had to become a chief? I was skipping so many episodes, I heard this in passing.
For a stupid second, Ntombi and Sbusiso had said their goodbyes, she handed him the ring back in what was supposed to be a sad scene
*rolls eyes*, the useless thing went back to drinking himself to a pulp and I so damn hate him for being such a sissy!
Every little problem that comes up, he sleeps with Ntombi's friend or goes back to drinking, who wants to marry such a man, heh?
Anyway, Ntombi told her father a secret he didn't know about Sphamandla. Apparently the brother had a mini "sika le khekhe"
(damn, why do I always think of Tso, whenever I say this?) meeting with Ntombi's cousin and the cousin fell pregnant with Sphamandla's child. Phakeme, Ntombi's dad knew about the child but the father's identity had been kept secret all the time.
On hearing the news, he threw his hands up and down in his usual fashion but finally decided that he was gonna give Sbuda a chance. Yay, Ntombi was free to go back to her drunkard of a husband to be...sh!t!
I need a break from them so let's catch on Khethiwe and her babysitter, Khaphela.
Damn, Khaphela needs to get laid asap and stop being such a pain in Khethiwe's butt.
They sold the house to Mashaba and I thought the selling price was R2 million but I keep hearing 'Khethiwe has R2 million" so does that mean they each got 2? I missed this part too.
Anyway, now they are staying at a 5 Star Hotel, while looking for a place to stay and Khethiwe is spending the money
left, right & centre (I've always wanted to say this!) and I don't blame her!
I would too if I had all that money!
Her new B.F.F is none other than Queen, who is introducing her to all sorts of beauty treatments.
Khaphela is forever telling her about what their financial adviser said and I'm all for people saving and stuff but does that mean you can't enjoy your money at all??
I know Khethiwe is overdoing it a bit, speaking of not wanting to work coz her interest is enough and sh!t, but are you not allowed to at least just spend R50 000 of that R2 million on doing things you could never afford to do before? Things that you only dreamed about or saw only on TV?
Oh boy, I would spend that money like nobody's business!
Ooh really, Khaphela must be the most boring person on earth. There is a time and place to be all smart, wise & safe and it's definitely not ALL the time. Damn brotha, give us a break! Uyasikhinyabeza, full time!
Queen is such an underground gold digger still, why the hell is she so interested in Khethiwe all of a sudden? How is she different to all of Khethiwe's relatives who phone or either show up at her door looking for money? She doesn't ask Khethiwe for money but I'm sure Khethiwe is the one paying for all the beauty stuff, massages included, taking place at her place.
On a side note: I was very sad to hear that Sophie Ndaba and her hubby are separated. They were really inspiring!
Back at Mashaba Media, the auction is coming soon and they have Duma working out. Ok, when did he get all those muscles so quickly?
Anyway, Mashaba jnr is trying everything to get Ajax on everyone's lips. He even went as far as digging in his past, thanks to a slip up by Sharon, and leaked a story about their father to the newspapers. Zamani is livid!!
Jack Mabaso was summoned to Kenny's office after Kenny discovered that there was some equipment missing. Copiers and other stuff were disappearing and he had no doubt that it was an inside job so he confronted Mabaso and told him that he is not running a charity but was running a business and Jack was paid to make sure that security was tight.
In no uncertain terms, Jack was promised that anything else that went missing would be taken off his salary...
Eish, enuff of this boring stuff...let me get back to the juice.
So Karabo had decided she was leaving SA for New York and was sellling her shares. Anne went to ask about the shares, Karabo gave her the asking price and could not care less who got the shares, as long as she got her money. Geez!!
Jack wanted to get his claws on the money so he was shagging Anne just to soften her up and get her to obtain the shares on his behalf. So Nongayindoda was soo excited that a man was paying her attention and she didn't see it coming.
She agreed to help Jack out but one evening she went to dinner with Karabo, and after being told how much she'd changed she went and told Jack that she could not go through with his plan and if he wanted Ezweni shares, he had to do it without her.
Hey, brother was pissed off big time!
She was then like "I hope this is not the end of me and u" etc etc but it was so clear that Jack was only doing her to get what he wants but he pretended like he still cared.
I don't understand how a woman can be so desperate for sex, shouldn't it be the other way round???
Anyway, last night's episode had such an awesome scene between these two. Anne trying to get Jack to go to the theatre with her and Jack was on some no he doesn't want to go coz "Some people like theater, others don't and I'm one of them.'
Anne really tried shame so she goes "Ok, maybe we can go out for dinner or order take aways, stay home and get up to all sorts of mischief"...she then started kissing Jack's neck and that's when he delivered the punchline : NOT TONIGHT, I DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!"
Ok, he's a man! He should always feel like it!! If a man ever says this to me, I swear I will just die from shock & embarassment!!
And really, as for that scene last week with Jack rubbing Anne's feet, couldn't they tell the poor woman to wash her feet first?
Really, Jack must have been glad he had the glove on, imagine if he had to be kissing her feet and stuff
KARABO + SBUDA + NTOMBI = TSHISA MPAMA
So Karabo leaves a message on her Gynae's phone and asks her to refer her to a doctor in New York.
She's gone to the airport, leaving for NY, her Gynae calls her office and Ntombi picks up the phone coz Queen is not at reception.
Ok, before the phone rang, there was some cheap romance novel nonsense happening with Ntombi teaching Sbusiso how to send a fax?? Really and that "playing soccer" thing they were doing the other day? Somebody needs to invest in Mills & Boon novels for some inspiration, yeah, it's that bad!
So ke Ntombi picks up the phone and she offers to take a message for Karabo (Who is permanently relocating overseas, by the way) and the doctor conveniently forgets all about patient confidentiality and announces that she wishes Karabo all the best for the rest of her pregnancy.
Ntombi is shocked, Sbusiso comes in and Ntombi tells him what the doctor said. Ntombi has to go to a meeting with a client so the feather finally drops and Sbusiso goes to Karabo's office searching for a clue that the child is his, hayibo, he finds the sonogram.
Must have done a bit of a calculation coz next thing he appears at the airport, where Karabo's flight is conveniently delayed by two hours.
She admits that it is his child and she didn't want to upset things between them blah blah blah. Sbuda tells her she is not going anywhere so yeah, she stays.
Sbusiso goes drinking again and Ntombi spends the night alone, wondering where he is.
The next day Sbuda pitches up and supposedly tells Ntombi everything that took place between him and Karabo.
Karabo, on the other hand is also forced to explain to Busi & Queen why she didn't leave the country so finally Queen knows about the pregnancy too.
THE CONFRONTATION:
Ntombi goes to see Karabo after finding out about the betrayal. Karabo is all nervous when opening the door and before Ntombi can say anything, Karabo is apologizing.
Without saying anything, Ntombi just walked straight up to her, gave the b!tch a slap and stormed the hell out of that joint.
Kwa Cimi' iyibane!!!!
