Your most valuable possession
:
My house.

If you were to get married and you had a first dance, what track would you want played?
Stevie Wonder, As.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be?
Can I have three? Nas, Jay-Z and Pharrell Williams.

When was the last time you kissed someone?
Wow, this morning...

And you can’t leave home without?
There’s nothing I can’t leave home without. If I’ve got myself, I’m fine.

What’s your favourite radio station?
That’s a hard one. I love Unathi, Rudeboy and Sanza on YFM, I gravitate between Rudeboy/ Sanza & Thomas on Metro and that’s it.

What’s the best thing about being Siyabonga?
Coming from zero to multiplying myself through all obstacles and really seeing my dreams come alive.

Summer or Winter?
Winter for the fashion, because you can layer and colour. Summer for the weather. I don’t know if that makes sense.

News or Sport?
That’s a hard one ... sports man, let me pick sports 'coz news is very biased these days.

Yeah I’ll pick sport 'coz even if the referee is bought, the underdog could still win, somehow.

So do you follow soccer at all?
Not really but I’m starting to follow it now 'coz of signing my contract with SABC sport.

What are you gonna be doing?
I was doing the basketball show for them and I’ve just shot a volleyball show for SABC3, it’s whatever they want to do with me hey.

I love sport for longevity, I don’t have to worry about shows getting re-commissioned and I can easily move into higher ranks while at the SABC sport and they love me out there and I love them.

Truth or Dare?
Dare, I believe in action rather than words.

Action or romance? You’re gonna pick action...
No, no, no Romance!

We didn’t picture you as the romantic type ...
I’m very romantic. Listen, my mother was subjected to a very bad relationship by my father and my father’s still around, he’s still my dad but he’s made mistakes. I live for that and I got 3 sisters as well.

I’m a romantic dude - like I got more slow jams than hip hop CD’s. My collection consists of music rather than hip hop and for that reason, I want to learn to cook, and not on some umgqusho or umphokoqo tip but on some Jamie Oliver because I wanna be able to cook for the lady...s.

Oh yeah, the S at the end sounds good. You don’t wanna limit yourself?
Not at all but don’t get me wrong, if I do find the right gal and I trust her, 'coz my whole thing is trust, if I trust her then it’s cool.

There are certain things because of my church background that a woman would do and she doesn’t realise where that puts her in terms of the way I see her.

I make my decision about a woman when I’m not talking to her. I watch her in public, talk to people, manoeuvre, walk the floor, I watch a lady and I can basically gage ukuba ngumntu onjani.

When you’re talking to me, obviously you’ll try to impress and I don’t ask people, I watch 'coz people have their own agendas. If a gal grabs me then I have no problem saying “Ja this is my gal and I’m settling down” but if it hasn’t come yet, sorry”.

Favourite Quote from a song:
John Legend’s Coming Home:

“It may be long to get me there
It feels like I’ve been everywhere
But someday I’ll be coming home
Round and round the world will spin
Oh, the circle never ends
So you know that I’ll be coming home.”

For me, it’s like I’ve left home, had to be the sacrificial lamb to leave, to finance them and it’s something that I’m still dealing with today 'coz my parents are old and I would have loved to talk to them in their old age and get wisdom from them.

My relationship with them wasn’t that cool when I was younger and I don’t think they really got to know who I was so yeah, John Legend says that “It feels like I’ve been everywhere but someday I’ll be coming home” and I wanna come home to PE man and just chill.

Hayi i cud never do a guy like siya..Id always feel like he has the upper hand. He is tooo analytical. If I were to meet him or be in the same room as him i'l probably obsess about what he thinks of me.. Thats if he notices me LOL. .. I thought I was the only person that analyses people. I value actions to words. So nami umunto ngiyamuxaminisha before i get into a relationship/friendship with them.

LOL@ Portia...I think Andile has some connection to KZN, like a grandma or something, maybe from his mom's side. I also get confused at the "Isiphandla" (is that what they call it?)

Sakhumzi from YoTV looks so much like Siya!!! The way they speak, their voices, their energy and their Xhosa....inyani mayiphume!

I think you're doing a very good job my brother not forgeting the person who is nxibising you, hay unestyle, the camera man / lady, setting and location of scenes, accessories, the graphics and everyone behind the stage.

I think you should colaborate with MXO aka zandiybone, put your words into organised sound.

(hint hint-name and surname) Kakapana u right Andile is Zulu the surname says it all. Kodwa what if mna I say Andile is xhosa name? What I'm trying to say here is that the name Andile goes both directions.
