Cirie Fields is a Jersey girl who currently works as an operating room nurse. Her previous occupations include working as a surgical technician, home health aid worker, telemarketer and working at a candy factory.
Why would you possible leave the second greatest job in existence – working at a candy factory – unless it was for the greatest job in all existence – working at a chocolate factory? Perhaps she felt guilty creating sugary sweeties full of stuff that’s bad for you and decided to make up for her misspent sweet-making youth by becoming a health care professional.
Her favourite activities are watching television and amusement park rides. Ooh, a semi-sedentary couch potato. That’ll go over well on the island. Before you dismiss her as an early boot, her skills include fishing, cooking and carpentry – so even if she’s not the fittest contestant, she does have an edge in being able to catch food, prepare food and build the shelter. Plus, there’s the medical knowledge that comes from being a nurse, not that that saved Margaret from being booted by those scheming ingrates last season
She believes she’ll win because people love her cute smiling personality. We’ll see how cute and smiling her personality is if she ends up in front of an angry, knife-wielding jury just itching to eviscerate her. I’d recommend supplementing that smile with bribes from her candy factory.
She is proud that she had the discipline to lose thirty pounds in order to prepare for the show. It may be the second greatest job in all existence but there are some drawbacks to working at a candy factory, namely the thirty extra pounds gained by chomping on the job.
