Connie Saves Generations

Karabo

Generations writers have the perfect opportunity to spice things up in the soap and we all know it can do with a "whole lotta spices"!!

When Connie and her gorgeous looking husband Shona, were planning for their second child (third for Connie), little did they know that they would be presenting Generations, with a superb opportunity to save the sinking ship that is their storyline.

I can think of a couple of ways the writers can use Connie's real life pregnancy to add a bit of drama and wow moments to Generations.
Knowing the writers and how predictable they've become, they might just do the obvious and say that Karabo got pregnant before Tau died!! Boring!!

Given Karabo's recent dreams in the soap, they might also get her to disappear while she has the baby perhaps she will be told she needs to go for training as a Sangoma...umm speaking of a Sangoma, does anyone know what happened to Letoya Makhene?

As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted by my wandering mind, if they use the sangoma training plot, what we call ukuthwasa in Xhosa, they can get the sangoma that will be training her to be the father!

Imagine that Karabo is admitted at the Academy of Sangoma Training and the lecturer happens to be a cute guy. One day Karabo is sad because she misses Tau and the sangoma is trying to comfort her and then one thing leads to the other...that could work!

However, if they don't want to go that way they can make things easy and get Khaphela to be the father! Or Kenneth Mashaba, just something crazy. Something that is very Brooke Logan -like.

You're probably thinking I have way too much time on my hands writing this hey? This is actually just a cry for help...somebody do something! I don't want Generation to go down Television history as South Africa's biggest & longest running flop!!
