The 58th Annual Emmy Awards were held on Sunday, 27th August 2006 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Elizabeth I was the big winner, carrying away 4 Emmys, adding to the 5 Emmys they already won at the Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Awards held on the 19th August 2006.

Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the Emmy Awards paid special tribute to TV Icons Dick Clark, who made a telecast appearance seated behind a desk to accept the honour ,and Aaron Spelling who passed away earlier this year.

The original cast of Charlie’s Angels, Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith, made a special appearance to pay tribute Aaron.
