Coming Up on 7de Laan (23 August - 05 September)
23 – 25 August:
Hilda is driving Paula up the wall with the Vonkelvrou Competition but Charmaine saves her before her special evening turns into a disaster. Emma hears some promising news about Theron and Terreblanche. Vince manages to escape violent confrontation. Votes for the Vonkelvrou Competition are coming in fast. Meanwhile, Paula devises a plan to put Hilda in the lead. Marko and Aggie discuss Mata Hari and Boerboel. Could this be the case of “where there’s smoke there’s fire”? Xander broods over his dream girl.
Vince and Felicity don’t seem to be on the same page regarding their relationship. Vince has other plans for the evening but Vanessa springs a surprise on him from Felicity. Mata Hari and Boerboel make up their mind about their relationship.
28 Aug – 01 September:
Madel hides from the truth. Paula has a lot on her mind. Neville and Xander have a talk about love. Atus prepares himself for a big meeting. Alyce receives shocking news. Mata Hari and Boerboel discover the truth. How do Paula and Altus handle their discovery? Matron runs out of steam. Xander is getting serious and desperate.
A Hillside Times meeting erupts into chaos. Wilmien gives George some interesting information. Altus reaches an important conclusion, regarding his love life. Maria lets it slip to Hilda that she is going to win.
Paula receives messages from a secret admirer. Who is her knight in shining armour? Moekie shares some bad news about ‘Neef Gert’. Xander want to talk to Felicity. When Matron questions Hilda’s “vonkel”, she investigates and discovers some evil trickery. Alyce saves George and Dezi from disaster. Vince is worried about Felicity.
A Very unexpected visitor surprises the Hillsiders. Matron’s playing dirty but with a good reason. Madel is overwhelmed by her problems. George and Dezi discuss the previous evening’s incident.
04 – 05 September:
All is not well with the Vonkelvrou. Who wins? Madel is confused about her emotions. Vince and Xander are at loggerheads about the girl of their dreams- Felicity. Maria is in panic regarding the outcome of the Vonkelvrou Competition.
Karien hears the bad news about Alyce. Charmaine takes to task about their squatters’ (who could this be?) unpaid rent. Matron and Hilda are at each other’s throats. Madel’s competition fishes for information from Inge. Maria receives shocking news from Oubaas.
