Season 5

The fifth season promises to be the most entertaining yet, proving that laughter truly can be the best medicine, evidenced by a new segment where Dr. Mehmet Oz goes undercover, dressing as a woman, to surprise viewers with the truth about health myths.

Plus, expect a full line-up of A-list celebrities, donning the iconic purple gloves, examining organs, and getting advice about their health concerns.

Celebrity interviews include Steven Tyler, Duck Dynasty, Sweet Brown, Wayne Brady, Kandi Burruss, Kim Coles, Cheryl Burke, Melissa and Joe Gorga, Louie Armstrong and more.

In a first for The Dr. Oz Show, viewers take over an entire show via social media and get to decide all of the show topics. More outrageous segments include the best sex positions for back pain and Dr. Oz attempting to climb a 15-foot weave.

This season will also see the return of several immensely popular show elements from earlier seasons such as the Assistant of The Day and the Truth Tube.

Dr. Oz will feature one lucky audience member as his Assistant of the Day (AOD) to help him with one focal segment on that day's show. The AOD will share their personal health situation with Dr. Oz and then the doctor will guide the AOD through to a possible solution.

The Truth Tube is a vertical on-stage monitor which gives the audience graphical insight into what's going on in a guest's body - from blood work to weight loss, numbers never lie. This tool is used in interviews to illustrate a typical conversation you may have with your doctor through Dr. Oz's fun and compassionate filter.

In continuation of his mission, Dr. Oz remains committed to fighting for his viewers on consumer issues and giving them access to information they didn't know existed.

Other episodes include:

Dr. Oz hosts a special medical version of the popular improvisational show Whose Line Is It Anyway? with original cast member Wayne Brady who lends his comedic spontaneity to the many health questions thrown out by the audience in a rendition of 'Whose Embarrassing Condition Is It Anyway?' Wayne Brady then dishes on what he's up to now.

Next, Dr. Oz investigates how you could have fibroids and not know it. Plus, is that urban food legend for real? Dr. Oz takes you through the Glozell Challenge. Then, Dr. Oz shares the number one way to kiss your cold sores goodbye.

It's Steven Tyler on the record like you've never seen him before, sitting down with Dr. Oz and the doctor who helped him conquer his addiction. Steven Tyler then plays the Lip Service game.

Next up, Dr. Oz delves into what your feet are trying to tell you about your health. In a surprising twist, Dr. Oz does the unthinkable and goes undercover - as a woman! - to determine if women would rather choose shoe fashion over shoe comfort. Lastly, Dr. Oz explores why coffee may give you the jitters.

Dr. Oz hosts his first ever 'Girls Out Loud' panel where Kandi Burruss, Cheryl Burke, and Kim Coles dish on the latest topics and trends in celebrity and pop culture. Then, Dr. Oz shows you how to get rid of your mood swings for good.

Later, a segment you won't want to miss about the best sex positions for people with back pain. Plus, Stepp Stewart shows viewers how to 'get low' with his latest exercise dance craze.

Dr. Oz shows you how to fix your biggest hair disasters with his own version of Snow White's magic mirror. Then, Dr. V from The Real Housewives of New Jersey shares her secrets for how to get people to listen.

Later, Dr. Oz shares the only organ you can diagnose in your mirror: the thyroid. Plus, the hot new trampoline work out you have to try!

Dr. Oz shows you how to get almost anything, including prescriptions, for free. Then, Dr. Oz meets America's most controversial dance mom: Abby Lee Miller. Next, Bill Eichner takes to the street to find out if the weight of your purse is weighing down your health. Finally, Dr. Oz's must have super find of the week - the lemon mister!

Other episodes also include Duck Dynasty's The Robertson Family - America's self-proclaimed healthiest family - talking about quack medicine, Louie Anderson on why you should get off the couch, and 'Sweet Brown' talking about the symptoms of bronchitis and why ain't nobody got time for that.

Plus, a crazy stunt to find out if are you sleep compatible with your partner; how to get in and out of your fast food restaurant for 500 calories, and Dr. Oz's new favorite F word: Fasting!
