One man gets the opportunity to find the woman of his dreams - and hopefully his bride-to-be - in this one-hour primetime reality series.
The Bachelor embarks on a romantic journey meeting 25 women, then selecting 15 as potential mates. After getting to know each one, he continues to narrow the field, from 10 to 5, then 6, and ultimately, the one woman to whom he proposes marriage in the series finale.
The eighth bachelor is Dr. Travis Lane Stork (we kid you not), a 33-year-old emergency medicine resident from Nashville, Tennessee, who was reportedly discovered while he was walking down the street.
"One of my casting people saw him walking down the street and she said, 'Oh, my God! That is the best-looking guy I have ever seen in my entire life', said producer Mike Fleiss in an interview with the New York Daily News last year.
"And she literally chased him down the street."
The season is set in Paris, France, allegedly because it "offers numerous seductive possibilities with vast scenic panoramas, intimate bistros and mysteries lurking around every corner and side street", according to a press release.
