Season 5

She's BACK. Again! The unbearably long wait is over as RuPaul returns with a brand new field of gorgeous and talented sequin-sporting queens.

But it's not just about the wigs and the heels, it's about performers with passion who prove to be some of the most fascinating characters on television.

And this season brings us the biggest personalities the show has ever seen, all vying for the biggest prize in Drag Race history: $100,000. That's a lot of padding, honey!

From deeply revealing work room interactions, to displays of wild creativity during the challenges, to their astounding transformations on the runway, every moment is hilarious, heart-filled and truly unpredictable.

As always a new star-studded panel of celebrity judges will join RuPaul to select and crown America's Next Drag Superstar.

Playing a dual role, RuPaul reigns supreme in all judging and eliminations, while RuPaul, the man, helps guide the contestants as they prepare for each challenge.

Contestants include the nation's most outrageous, cutting-edge, talented and stunningly gorgeous drag queens all fighting for the title (and tiara) as top drag queen of the land.

Joining RuPaul on the judges panel are Project Runway breakout star and designer Santino Rice and singer and radio host Michelle Visage, plus a bevy of celebrity guest judges.

Each cast member must embody the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent that made RuPaul an international drag superstar. The judges will determine the bottom two contestants of the week.

Those contestants then compete in a show-stopping battle-royal "lip-synch for your life" performance that will determine if they will "shante" and stay and who will "sashay" away until one is crowned America's next Drag Queen Superstar.

The guest judges this season are:

Maria Conchita Alonso (singer/songwriter and actress)
Joan Van Ark (actress)
Chaz Bono (writer and activist)
Downtown Julie Brown (actress and MTV VJ)
Julie Brown (actress-comedienne)
Coco (model)
Camille Grammer (television personality)
Marg Helgenberger (actress)
Kristen Johnston (actress)
Leslie Jordan (actor)
Clinton Kelly (fashion stylist)
George Kotsiopoulos (editor and fashion consultant)
Juliette Lewis (actress and singer)
Bob Mackie (fashion designer)
Aubrey O'Day (singer)
The Pointer Sisters (Anita & Ruth) (girl group)
Paulina Porizkova (model and actress)
Mike Ruiz (photographer)
Jamie-Lynn Sigler (actress and singer)
Travis Wall (dancer)

Additional guest appearances this season include:

Gloria Allred (lawyer)
Mathu Andersen (make-up artist)
Candis Cayne (actress and performance artist)
Nadya Ginsburg (singer)
Deven Green (comedian and musician)
Wilmer Valderrama (actor)
Bruce Vilanch (writer and actor)

Each week, through the trials and tribulations of glam, glitter and show-stopping performances, one drag queen is eliminated until finding America's next drag superstar.

In the end, only one contestant will have what it takes to win the coveted title of "America's Next Drag Superstar," and a prize package that includes a sickening supply of Colorevolution cosmetics, a one-of-a-kind trip courtesy of AlandChuck.travel, a headlining spot on Logo's Drag Race Tour and a cash prize of $100,000.

RuPaul's Drag Race is produced by World of Wonder Productions with Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, and RuPaul Charles serving as Executive Producers. Mandy Salangsang, David Cortez and Steven Corfe serve as Co-Executive Producers.

Brent Zacky and Pamela Post serve as Executive Producers for Logo.
