Wild at Heart is a British television drama series created by Ashley Pharoah about a Bristol-based vet and his family relocating to start a game park in South Africa.

The series premiered in the UK on ITV on 29 January, 2006. Season 4 will air in the UK in 2009. A spin-off series, entitled Life is Wild, premiered in the USA on 7 October, 2007.

Wild at Heart premiered in South Africa on DStv's Hallmark channel on Friday 7 April 2006, at 20h00.

Season 3 premiered on Hallmark on Sunday 6 July 2008, at 20h00. There are eight episodes in the third season.

Season 3 Synopsis

This season of Wild at Heart takes a look at the Trevanion family as they try to expand their veterinary practice and as they struggle through the drought with their neighbours.

Sarah continues to juggle work and family life, and her daughter, Rosie, is keen to prove she can be a good assistant to her father while dating bar owner Max.

In the third season Jessie Wallace, best known for her role as Kat Slater in Eastenders, joins the cast as Essex girl Amy Kriel.

Amy has flown out to Africa to join her husband Elliott who has just bought the smart safari park next door to Leopard's Den.

Unimpressed with the reality of her new life in Africa, Amy soon starts to regret ever coming out at all... that is, until she meets Sarah (Amanda Holden).

Also starring Hayley Mills who plays Sarah's outspoken mother, Caroline, and Deon Stewardson who returns as Du Plessis, the Trevanion's business partner.
