Season 3

10 Years Younger is a British reality makeover television series created by Maverick Television in which - with the help of experts - the participants are given a complete makeover in an attempt to make them look 10 Years Younger.

The series originally premiered in the UK on 28 April 2004. There are four seasons of the show to date.

10 Years Younger airs in South Africa on DStv's BBC Prime channel.

The third season premiered on BBC Prime on Tuesday 16 January 2007, at 19h00.

Synopsis

Stylist and presenter Nicky Hambleton-Jones has all of the answers on how to turn back the clock in 10 Years Younger.

From hair wefts to brow lifts to teeth whitening to tips on how to wear tweed, Nicky and her crack team of experts use every trick in the book to make someone look dramatically younger.

Coming to Nicky’s aid are: cosmetic surgeon Jan Stanek, celebrity hairdressers Guy Parsons and Andrew Barton, cosmetic dentist Surinder Hundle and make up artists to the stars, Louise Constad and Ruby Hammer.

It’s not what age the person is, but how old people think they look, that counts. Each episode begins with introductions to the person who's going be transformed.

Nicky asks one hundred passers-by on the street to guess their age and once Nicky has revealed the average age everyone comes up with it’s time to embark on a full-blown course of treatments aimed at getting the person to look and feel ten years younger – including some incisive sartorial advice from Nicky herself.

Once the treatments are done, it’s back onto the streets for the all-important final poll.

How old do one hundred strangers think the person is now? Do they look 10 years younger?
