Season 2 Synopsis

Really Big Things is back for a second season, profiling the inner workings of massive man-made wonders that keep our world moving.

We live in a world where some things continue to get smaller and smaller, while others that once only existed in science fiction have come to life in mammoth proportions.

Host Matt Rogers brings the audience up close with big machines, giant telescopes, massive structures and other really big things that are changing the way we live.

Taking viewers across the globe, Really Big Things explores massive machinery of all kinds - from the world's largest windmill turbine in Germany to the largest telescope in Arizona, USA.

Matt Rogers gets into the thick of things as he gets his hands on the Rammer Hammer to break ore in the Arctic Circle and visits the Ames Research Center in San Jose, California, where NASA has built one of the largest three-dimensional motion simulators in the world.
