Season 2
Inimba is a South African soapie which revolves around a woman who chooses her career over motherhood, and the consequences of this decision more than two decades later.
This is a tale of love, sacrifice and the unstoppable force of a mother's bond with her child.
The new season opens with Zoleka Bikitsha (Lunathi Mampofu) and Lazarus Ngcukana's (Loyiso MacDonald) families coming together for a celebration of love, but the arrival of Lazarus's cousin, Azande Ngcukana ignites a silent war over succession inside the Ngcukana empire.
Azande is played by Siya Raymond Sepotokele, a character whose arrival quietly disrupts and unsettles loyalties, reopening dynamics which the family thought were long buried.
The new season sees everyone trying to rebuild their lives - from the power couple navigating the in-law dynamics, Thumeka (Zenande Mfenyana) trying to move on from grief and redefining her dignity, Hlathi (Sisa Hewana) battling with guilt and fatherhood, Sydney (Siyabonga Shibe) redeeming himself in the Tech industry, and Qhawe (Ayakha Ntunja) showing stronger determination in her career growth.
Inimba was created by Siphosethu Tshapu and is produced by The Milton Empire.
