Season 2
Laugh Out Loud is a South African hidden camera comedy television series produced by Imani Media (Seasons 1 and 2) and Stepping Stone Pictures (since Season 3) which involves pranking celebrities, the cream of society, average Joes and everyone in between. There are 48 half-hour episodes in two seasons.
The series originally premiered on M-Net on Wednesday 17 August 2005, at 20h00. It later aired on DStv's M-Net Series channel. Although only two seasons aired on these channels the show was revived after a four-year hiatus on DStv's Mzansi Magic channel, where it has aired ever since.

Season 2 originally aired on M-Net from 16 August, 2006 to 24 January, 2007, on Wednesdays at 20h00. New episodes broadcast weekly.
Season 2 later aired on M-Net Series from 26 February to 21 May, 2009, on Thursdays at 23h00. New episodes broadcast in a double bill, weekly. There are 24 episodes in the second season.

South Africa's number one comedy show is back! Laugh Out Loud is up for season two, and there are going to be more laughs, more pranks, more to win and a whole lot more suckers!
Laugh Out Loud's successful formula involves pranking celebrities, the cream of society, average Joes and everyone in between! Through elaborate set-ups and all too plausible pranks, we see real people reacting to unreal situations - always good for a laugh.
The Sucker Squad is always on the prowl, and if you're caught in a funny situation, look out for the lollipops because you could be being suckered. No one is safe from the Sucker Squad, and last season even our esteemed hosts got pranked.
Are they in for more of a rough ride this year? We don't have any answers for you yet, the answer, of course, is to watch the show.
Directed by comedy great Bobby Heaney, the show is sure to push the boundaries of comedy more than ever before. Famous 94.7 FM team Jeremy Mansfield and Darryn Simpson are back as presenters to give you more bellyaching laughs, while Ferdinand Rabie is out in the trenches, coaxing more comedy, action and suspense out of a myriad of unwilling participants.
Johan van der Walt will also be presenting his ever-so-comic take on everything under the sun, live from the studios. There might even be one or two more token surprises, but you'll just have to wait and see...
There are also awesome competitions, great gags, and a chance to see celebs knocked off their pedestals.

Season 2 was directed by Bobby Heaney.
The show was revamped for Mzansi Magic in 2011 with new hosts Kenneth Nkosi and Tumi Morake. Tumi left the show after Season 4 and was replaced by Siya B, Tall A$$ Mo and Lihle Lindsay Msimang, who joined Kenneth for Season 5.
The first two seasons were produced by Imani Media and were directed by Bobby Heaney. Since Season 3 the show has been produced by Stepping Stone Pictures.
The character of Johan van der Walt was given a spin-off series on M-Net called Van der Walt's Fault, which aired from April to May, 2008.
The series chronicled Van der Walt's ancestors' actions as they unwittingly yet irrefutably changed the course of South African history.
