Derren Brown: Russian Roulette (also known as Derren Brown Plays Russian Roulette and Derren Brown: Russian Roulette Reloaded) is a British variety television special produced by Objective Productions in which illusionist Derren Brown plays Russian Roulette with a loaded gun.
It originally aired in the UK on Channel 4 on 5 October, 2003. It is an hour long.
Derren Brown: Russian Roulette aired for the first time in South Africa on DStv's BBC Prime (now BBC Entertainment) channel on Tuesday 2 October 2007, at 19h30.

Synopsis
Derren Brown is a unique force in the world of illusion - he can seemingly predict and control human behaviour. He doesn't claim to be a mind-reader; instead, he describes his craft as a mixture of magic, suggestion, psychology, misdirection and showmanship.

This is his most dangerous experiment - Russian Roulette.
Filmed in a secret location, a member of the public, chosen from a nationwide search, will load a real handgun with one bullet and then hand it to Derren.
He will then use his famous ability to read people to determine which chamber contains the bullet, by putting the gun to his head and pulling the trigger until he comes to the live chamber.
What powers will Derren use to dodge the bullet? Will his mind control techniques be sharp enough to spare him the deadly chamber?
