Save Us from Our House is a Canadian lifestyle reality makeover television series produced by General Purpose Pictures which brings a relationship strategist, a contractor and weekly designers to the rescue of frantic families suffering in their space.
The series premiered in Canada on the W Network on 13 October, 2005. The first season was hosted by Hira Khan and Scott Puddicombe; the latter was replaced from Season 2 onwards with Dylan Marcel.
Save Us from Our House airs in South Africa on DStv's The Home Channel.
Synopsis
In this fast-paced, fun and moving show, the house-saving team responds to frantic families who have been suffering in their space.
Relationship Strategist Hina Khan tackles the emotional damage first, leading the family through a series of challenges and therapy.
Meanwhile contractor Dylan Marcel and his crew of professional craftsmen break down the walls tearing this family apart, finding innovative and specialised solutions.
The Save Us design team put the finishing touches and modern design elements together, and broker peace between the family and the house, arming them with some new insights on how to prosper as a loving family within it.
