Season 1
30 Days is an American reality television series created and hosted by Morgan Spurlock which explores what happens when people walk a mile - and spend a month - in other people's shoes.
The series premiered in the USA on FX Networks on 15 June, 2005. There are 18 hour-long episodes in three seasons to date.
30 Days premiered in South Africa on DStv's M-Net Series channel on Wednesday 16 July 2008, at 19h00. There are six episodes in the first season.

Synopsis
Confronting hot-button issues in American life that ranged from poverty to binge drinking and homosexual rights to steroid use, the first season of 30 Days was the highest rated non-fiction show in FX history.
The concept for the show stemmed from the transformation Spurlock underwent when he ate nothing but fast food for 30 days in his documentary movie Super Size Me.
In each episode, Spurlock, or some other person or group of people, spend 30 days immersing themselves in a particular lifestyle with which they are unfamiliar (e.g. working for minimum wage, being in prison, a Christian living as a Muslim etc.), while discussing related social issues.
As in Super Size Me, there are a number of rules unique to each situation which must be followed during each such experiment.
One episode each season has featured Spurlock as the person spending the month in the particular lifestyle.
