The Big Secret is a South African reality television series hosted by Khanyi Mbau in which South Africans are encouraged to come clean and reveal their darkest secrets to their family, friends and even colleagues.
There are shocking reveals and startling discoveries, and in each case, we discover whether the truth really does set you free – or get you into a heap of trouble.
In each episode participants reveal their darkest secrets in their search to free themselves from emotional burdens. Confessors divulge their secrets to Khanyi then come clean to family, close friends and/or lovers in a final reveal.
The producers of the series hope that by watching it, viewers find the courage and inspiration to begin their own personal journey towards unburdening themselves and reclaiming their lives.
