Season 1
Unauthorised is a South African television documentary series that profiles various South African public personalities with a spotlight on what it is about them that's given them recognition.
The series aired on SABC3 from 29 March to 31 May, 2006, on Wednesdays.
Synopsis
Each episode is biographical, considering the life of the person as well as popular perceptions of them. Whether they're loved or loathed the show considers both sides, varying in presentation from documentary to documentary.
Some tell the story through interviews with the personality themselves, others talk with their family, friends, colleagues and members of the press who have an opinion on them and some use a combination - all strung together with exclusive and archived footage.
