Season 1

Sleeper Cell is an American television drama series created by Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris about an African-American undercover FBI agent who is seduced into joining an Islamic sleeper terrorist cell in the United States by the cell's ruthless leader, with the aim of stopping an attack on American soil.

The series stars Michael Ealy as an African-American undercover FBI agent who is seduced into joining an Islamic sleeper terrorist cell in the United States by the cell's ruthless leader, played by Oded Fehr.

Darwyn Al-Sayeed, a 30-year-old African-American undercover FBI agent who is also a practicing Muslim, is assigned to infiltrate a terrorist sleeper cell that is planning an attack in Los Angeles.

The cell is run by a Muslim extremist named Faris al-Farik (Fehr). Darwyn is supervised by FBI senior agent Ray Fuller (James LeGros), also a close friend who worries for Darwyn's safety.

The explosive Sleeper Cell takes viewers underneath the veil of a sleeper terrorist cell and follows the harrowing challenges faced by an agent determined to uncover its dark, twisted intentions.

Sleeper Cell folds current events and pertinent political developments into its storylines as it explores the personal and professional side of committed agents combating the greatest and most concealed threat in America's history.

Viewers are taken behind the veil of a terrorist group and track the harrowing challenges faced by an agent determined to learn its secrets.
