Pearl Thusi: the new host of MTV's Behind the Story

Behind the Story returns to MTV Base tonight (6 September) for a new season.

The first aired last year and was sort of a season - it was more a series of specials than a show. Celebs featured included Kelly Khumalo and Cassper Nyovest.

It's returning tonight at 21h30 and this time it's more of a structured show with weekly episodes.

These are episode descriptions for the first two eps:

Episode 1: 
DJ Sbu answers for all the controversies that have plagued his career in recent years. No punches will be pulled and no topic is too taboo for our new host Pearl Thusi. 
 
Episode 2: 
This week Pearl gets Behind the Story of Nonhle Thema's infamous twitter meltdown. We discuss her highs and her lows and find out what pushed her over the edge.

It's fascinating how much traction Nonhle's story has had years after it happened. It has to go down as the first official South African celebrity Total Tweltdown (Twitter meltdown).

Has anyone surprassed it in terms of impact??
