5.7-million viewers for Tjovitjo premiere, claims SABC1

According to a press release issued by SABC1 this evening, the premiere of their new Sunday night drama Tjovitjo garnered 5.7-million viewers on 20 August.

Look out for official confirmation of this number when the TAMS are released early next month.

Great marketing does that. Congrats to them but I think the number will drop from this Sunday onwards. The show playing for 30 mins is a big bummer.

I think the TAMS numbers will be a bit lower,maybe by a million .the marketing was done proper ... I like the show ...i choose it over iNumber number
