THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL RECEIVES 19 DAYTIME ENTERTAINMENT EMMY® AWARD NOMINATIONS
42nd  Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards (2015)
 
The show has been nominated in the following categories:
 
Outstanding Drama Series: Bradley P. Bell, Executive Producer; Rhonda Friedman, Edward Scott and Casey Kasprzyk, Supervising Producers; Cynthia J. Popp and Colleen Bell, Producers, and Mark Pinciotti, Coordinating Producer.  This marks the ninth nomination for B&B in this category, with three previous wins in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
 
Outstanding Drama Series Writing: Bradley P. Bell, Head Writer; Michael Minnis, Co-Head Writer; Rex M. Best, Shannon Bradley, Adam Dusevoir, Tracey Ann Kelly, Patrick Mulcahey, Jack F. Smith and Michele Val Jean, Writers. This marks the 11th nomination for Bradley P. Bell and the B&B writing team in this category with two previous wins in 2010 and 2013.
 
Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series:  Scott Clifton as “Liam Spencer”. This marks Clifton’s third nomination in this category, with a win in 2013 and five previous nominations in the category of Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series, with a win in 2011.
 
Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series:  Jacob Young as “Rick Forrester”. This marks Young’s second nomination in this category and three previous nominations in the category of Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series, with a win in 2002.
 
Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series: Linsey Godfrey as “Caroline Spencer Forrester”.  This marks Godfrey’s first nomination in this category, with one previous nomination in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress.
 
Outstanding Special Guest Performer in a Drama Series: Fred Willard as “John Forrester”.  This marks Willard’s first nomination in this category, with a previous nomination in the Outstanding Talk or Service Show Host category.  He has been previously nominated for four Primetime Emmy® Awards.
 
Outstanding Drama Series Directing Team: Michael Stich, Deveney Kelly, Cynthia J. Popp, David Shaughnessy and Jennifer Howard, Directors; Steven A. Wacker, Clyde Kaplan, Catherine Sedwick, and Jennifer Christenson, Associate Directors; Laura Yale, Douglas Jon Hayden and Lisa Winther-Huston, Stage Managers; Lori Staffier and Robin Harvey, Production Associates. This marks the 10th nomination for B&B in this category, with wins in 2011 and 2013.
 
Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design: Jack Forrestel, Production Designer; Fabrice Kenwood, Art Director; Joe Bevaqua and Charlotte Garnell Scheide, Set Decorators. This marks the 20th nomination in this category, with six previous wins in 1988, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 and 2012.
 
Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling for a Drama Series: Michele L. Arvizo, Key Hairstylist; Cora Diggins, Adriana Lucio, Brittany Madrigal, Hairstylists. This marks the 11th nomination for B&B in this category, with seven previous wins in 1996, 1998, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
 
Outstanding Achievement in Makeup for a Drama Series: Christine Lai-Johnson, Key Makeup; Leilani Baker, Allyson Carey, Chris Escobosa, Toby Lamm, Makeup. This marks the 15th nomination in this category with three previous wins in 1993, 2011 and 2014.
 
Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition for a Drama Series: Lothar Struff, Music Supervisor; Bradley Bell, John Nordstrom, Jack Allocco and David Kurtz, Composers. This marks the seventh nomination for B&B in this category with three previous wins in 2010, 2011 and 2013.
 
Outstanding Original Song - Drama: “Hands of Time” Bradley Bell, Casey Kasprzyk and Anthony Ferrari, Composers & Lyricists.  This marks the fourth nomination for B&B in this category and first for Kasprzyk and Ferrari.
 
Outstanding Achievement in Multiple Camera Editing for a Drama Series: Brian Bagwell, Marc Beruti, Marika Kushel, Chad Mochrie and Anthony Pascarelli, Editors.  This marks the 11th nomination for B&B in this category with three previous wins in 1997, 2008 and 2014.
 
Outstanding Achievement in Lighting Direction: Phil Callan, Lighting Director; Patrick Cuniff, Lighting Designer.  This marks the 12th nomination for B&B in this category with three previous wins in 1994, 2006 and 2013.
 
Outstanding Achievement in Technical Direction/Electronic Camera/Video Control for a Drama Series: Jim Dray, Technical Director; Gordon Sweeney, Ted Morales and Dean Lamont, Camera Operators; Scha Jani and Roberto Bosio, Video Control.  This marks the 12th nomination for B&B in this category with five previous wins in 1988, 1989, 1996, 2003 and 2013.
 
Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design for a Drama Series: Glenda Maddox, Costume Designer. This marks the 17th nomination for B&B in this category with seven previous wins in 1991, 1992, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2013 and 2014. This marks Maddox’s second nomination with one previous win in 2014.
 
Outstanding Achievement in Live and Direct to Tape Sound Mixing for a Drama Series:  Aaron Lepley, Production Mixer; Danny Lecuna, Post-Production Mixer; Brian Connell, Re-Recording Mixer; Jerry Martz, Sound Effects Mixer; Brian Cuneen, Dave Golba and Tom Luth, Boom Operators. This marks the ninth nomination in this category with two previous wins in 1994 and 2002.
 
Outstanding Stunt Coordination: Mickey Cassidy and Mike Cassidy.  This marks the third nomination for B&B in this category with previous nominations in 2010 and 2013.
 
Outstanding Stunt Coordination: (“Steps”) Mickey Cassidy and Mike Cassidy.  This marks the fourth nomination for B&B in this category with previous nominations in 2010, 2013 and 2015.
 
The 42nd Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards will take place on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Warner Bros Studio in Burbank, California and will air on Pop Television.
 
In 2014, The Bold and the Beautiful received its ninth consecutive Golden Nymph Award at the International TV Audience Awards in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category at the Monte Carlo Television Festival. 

In 2011, the show received its third consecutive Emmy® award for “Outstanding Daytime Drama Series”. 

In 2010, The Bold and the Beautiful was named the Most Popular Daytime Soap Currently on TV by Guinness World Records®.
 
Bold celebrated its 28th anniversary on March 23, 2015.
