Carrie Fisher, George Michael, Friedrich Stark, Debbie Reynolds...

What a way to end the year with all these headline deaths.

If you've missed the news about Friedrich Stark and Binnelanders' Elsabé Roux, you'll find it the Generations and Binnelanders sections.

Debbie Reynolds obviously died because of the stress of Carrie dying which really puts an exlamation mark on the fact that the world is TOO stressed. Both Carrie and Friedrich had heart attacks in their 60s - too young in this day and age. The cause of Friedrich's death hasn't been 100% confirmed but it definitely sounds as if it was a heart attack or stroke.

It's made me think about stress and its impact a lot... they say stress will kill you and it often seems like an overstated myth but clearly its not. People always go on about how bad it is but what's to be done about it?

How do we ensure less stress in 2017? I'm thinking one way is to keep remembering that life is too short - and not to get stressed about it but rather to see the stresses as less important in the overall picture of things.

Such a challenge!!

@Tashi i just find it strange and shameful that both Endemol Shine Africa and #Isidingo have not sent any words of comfort/condolences or issued a press release about Elsabé Roux's death since she is also writing and storylining for #Isidingo. Infact, one of the episodes she got credited to have written, aired last week Thursday on the 29. The fact that they are not commending her for the role she played on shaping isidingo by being one of the writing staff members on that show, it's just disgraceful, distasteful and shameful!
