Transgender activist, writer, musician and actor Chaz Bono has been signed to Bold and the Beautiful for a guest role as a minister.

It's only a two episode stint but it's notable because it has a broader impact, raising awareness, challenging prejudice etc.

He'll be appearing in two episodes which air in the US on 31 March and 1 April. We'll have to wait to see him - the episode will only air here in about a year's time.

I'm getting more and more frustrated at delays with shows. I really, really want us to be globally connected so that we're all living in the same timeline. Bring on the future!
